This beloved 5 bedroom/5 bath Sea Pines classic offers panoramic oceanfront views from its stylish indoor and outdoor living areas.

The upstairs living/dining/kitchen area, has white paneled walls, beamed ceilings, and beautiful heart pine floors. Its island architecture, soothing décor and stunning ocean views quickly combine to put guests in a vacation state of mind. The living area has white slipcovered seating, a custom game table, and a 65” LED/HD Smart TV with SONOS Sound Bar System. A 9-foot pine and zinc table provides comfortable seating for 10 in the adjoining dining area, which features a huge picture window and a wall of glass sliders accessing the large screened-in porch. Boasting comfortable seating for six, an outdoor TV, and among the best views in Sea Pines, the porch adds significant square footage to the house’s living area.

Sharing the open-concept floor plan and ocean views with the living area is a professionally designed kitchen with white custom cabinetry, open shelving, and stainless steel countertops and appliances. Centering the space is a huge quartzite island with four stools for dining. Above it, four hand-blown glass pendants reminiscent of jellyfish set the mood. The kitchen boasts a separate bar area with built-in wine cooler and ice maker, as well as a hideaway breakfast bar with microwave, coffee makers and toaster.

Rounding out the main level are two king bedrooms, each with white paneled walls, heart pine floors, sisal area rug, ceiling fan, TV, and en-suite bathroom. The spacious master bedroom is a relaxing retreat with ocean views and direct access to the deck and pool area. It features a king-sized, slipcovered bed nestled between his and hers closets, a comfortable club chair, and a roomy chest of drawers. The adjoining master bath boasts a large double vanity and a handsome limestone rain shower. Just down the hall, a comfortable guest suite with king-sized rattan bed and his/her dressers overlooks the entrance courtyard with its gurgling fountains.

The first level of the home, offers three additional bedrooms, a spacious den, a powder room, and well-equipped laundry room. Wood paneled walls and ceilings echo the island architecture of the upper level. Crisp tile floors, sisal area rugs, barn doors, colorful artwork, and comfortable furnishings lend a contemporary cottage feel to the spaces. From the entry foyer, a bright two-story hallway outfitted with hooks, a handy bench, and a powder room leads out to the pool and ocean beyond. A connecting den features slipcovered seating for six, a 55” HD/LED TV, and ample space for games around an oversized coffee table. On the ocean side of the house, a king bedroom and a twin bedroom, each with TV and private bath, have direct access to the lower level patio and pool. A third bedroom with twin beds and private bath has sliding door access to the entrance courtyard.

Just steps from the house, the oceanfront pool hosts 10 chic sling loungers. The adjoining lower patio equipped with comfortable deep seating and an outdoor ping pong table, provides covered outdoor space for rainy days and hot summer afternoons. A spacious dune deck with seating, storage and outdoor shower connects the pool to the sand via a shapely boardwalk over the dunes. And just above the pool deck, serious golfers and putt-putt enthusiasts alike will enjoy a 4-hole putting green with ocean views. Each of these outdoor amenities at 8 East Beach Lagoon feature ocean breezes and the ever present sound of waves. Whether relaxing on the screened porch, enjoying the view from the dune deck, lounging by the pool, practicing on the putting green, or dining alfresco on the expansive back deck, the Atlantic is a constant companion.

The house is equipped with free Wi-Fi and a Sonos sound system providing audio to the upstairs living area, screened porch, and pool via smart phone app. In addition, each of the eight smart TV’s are equipped with free access to Netflix for video streaming.
