This updated 5th floor penthouse is located oceanfront in Palmetto Dunes. It boasts spectacular views from all windows. This villa is tastefully decorated with lots of beach accents. The bedrooms and living areas all have private access to the exquisite wraparound balcony that makes you feel like you are on top of the world! No matter where you are in this villa you will enjoy the stunning ocean views.

The foyer and kitchen are tiled, while the remaining rooms in the villa have light wood panel floors. The fully equipped U-shaped kitchen has white granite counters, stainless steel appliances including a flat top stove, and two stools at the breakfast bar. The dining room table seats six. In the living room you will find a mint green sofa with a matching loveseat and rocker chair. Enjoy your favorite movie on the 55” TV mounted over the fireplace. The sliding doors lead you to the wraparound balcony where there is a round table for four, two lounge chairs and three additional chairs. Sit out there with your morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail and enjoy the ocean breeze while listening to the waves.

The master bedroom is located off the living area and has a king bed, 40" SMART TV and access to the balcony. The private bathroom features a walk-in shower and two separate granite topped vanities.

To the left of the foyer is the stacked washer and dryer. Down this hall are the two guest bedrooms. The first bedroom has two twin beds with blue headboards and nautical bedspreads and a 32” Roku TV in the armoire. This bedroom has access to the balcony. The bathroom attached to this room can also be accessed from the hall and has a single granite vanity and a tub/shower combo. The second guest bedroom has a king bed, a 40” SMART TV and a door to the balcony. The private bathroom has a single granite vanity and a walk-in shower.

This is truly a one-of-a-kind villa for families and couples alike!

The Barrington Complex offers an oceanfront pool with spa, restrooms, showers, and grilling area. There is also an elevator and under cover parking garage. Palmetto Dunes is one of the premiere areas of Hilton Head Island and has three miles of beach, three signature golf courses, world-renowned tennis, and an 11-mile lagoon system where guests can kayak, canoe and fish. There are miles of leisure paths that weave throughout the resort that are great for walking, jogging, and biking. Plus, Shelter Cove Marina on Broad Creek is close by where you will find live entertainment, restaurants, and shops.

We would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Amazing layout for our needs, and 5 screen doors to a wrap around balcony allowed full ocean view. Beautiful setting. Easy access to beach and quick drive to a variety of amenities. Property manager was quickly helpful when our access code didn't work properly. Furnishings were very comfortable. Mostly clean, but there were some surfaces and kitchen utensils that had obviously not been cleaned - so we did need to do a little cleaning before we could completely settle in.

beautiful view, but....

...this unit is showing its age. You cannot beat the panoramic ocean view, but the rest is is fair.The bathrooms and flooring have been redone but clearly for a moderately appointed rental. Living room upholstery could use cleaning. We eat dinners out while on vacation, but food prep would have been a challenge given what was available to cook with. Overall, it was ok b/c we were outside most of the time (on the beach or deck) but if we had to be indoors it wouldn't have been the best experience.

Great Vacation!

We had a fantastic week at the beach staying at this property. The wrap-around deck is unreal and makes you feel like you're on the beach from the comfort of your condo. The living room furniture was comfortable, and the TV was nicely upgraded. We loved that plenty of bath and beach towels were left for us -- absolutely no shortage there! The rental company was fantastic and came out right away with a new coffee maker when the original one broke a few days into our stay. I also really enjoyed the updated vinyl flooring and the updated bathrooms. Not a deal-breaker, but I did want to note that the condo's cleanliness was a 4/5. It was acceptable but not quite up to my high standards. The air conditioning in the condo was great except in the master bedroom on the other side of the kitchen. Family members stayed in that room and commented that it got warm at night.

Great Condo!

This is our 3rd time staying in Plantation Dunes for spring break, and we have enjoyed all 3 visits. The views from the bedrooms and the living room, and of course from the huge balcony, were incredible. We enjoyed playing tennis daily (other than 1 rain-out day) at the beautiful Plantation Dunes Tennis Center. We also enjoyed the fact that the beach access for bikes was right next door to Barrington Court. We prefer staying at the Barrington Arms in regards to the swimming pool being right below the building as opposed to the short walk over from Barrington Court. The inside of the condo was fully adequate. Some of the furniture and decorations are looking a bit tired--perhaps the unit would benefit from an overall freshening up. This did not impede our enjoyment overall with the location and the great views.
