This property is absolutely idyllic. The home itself is practically brand new, with many modern touches. It's set on property that is very peaceful and quiet, and you'll likely see wildlife while you are there, but is only a five-minute drive from downtown Highlands. The host was very prompt with communications, and we had no problems during our stay. It's perfect for a family stay or a group of friends.

Spacious and Tasteful

I celebrated my birthday with girlfriends. We loved our time in the house. The house was complete with supplies and tastefully decorated. We wanted to use the fire pit, but rain prevented this. Would tent here again!

Ideal location and beautiful home

Loved the location and was ideal for exploring the area and going into highlands daily. The design and decor are stunning! We were a group of five women up for a relaxing girls weekend and it was perfect for us. Everyone slept great. It is a new build and I think they may still be working through the final punch list because there was some trim work / paint touch ups that seemed to still be in progress. I’m sure when everything is completed it will be perfect. We will be back!

An Unforgettable Mountain Retreat!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this stunning home in Highlands, NC, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful surroundings, tasteful decor, and thoughtful amenities. The home is spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed. Every room feels like a serene escape.The kitchen was fully equipped and perfect for cooking meals together, and the outdoor spaces were truly something special. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the porch surrounded by nature, and our evenings relaxing by the firepit under the stars. It was the perfect balance of luxury and coziness.The location is ideal — close enough to enjoy all the charm of downtown Highlands, yet tucked away in a quiet, private setting. Whether you're hiking nearby trails, exploring waterfalls, or just unwinding at the house, this place makes it all feel magical. The hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming, making the whole experience seamless from start to finish.We can't wait to return — truly a hidden gem in the mountains. Highly, highly recommended!
