Weekend, short term and long term lease available in our charming, newly renovated, loft style studio with private bath and private entrance in a quiet neighborhood and wooded setting, minutes to Main Street Hendersonville, a short 25 mile drive to Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, and 31 Miles to Tryon Equestion Center. The Hideway is within a few miles of local breweries, bakeries, wonderful restaurants, parks for walking and biking. Close by is The Carl Sandburg Home, Chimney Rock State Park (site of the Last of the Mohicans filming) Dupont State Park and trails (site of Hunger Games filming) and Lake Lure (site of Dirty Dancing filming) and near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Leaf viewing in the fall is spectacular, flowers, trees and shrubs blooming in the spring is breathtaking, and summer in Asheville is how the heart beats!

Hideaway studio as advertised

This little studio in the house’s basement is super clean, well appointed, and very private. You can hear the owners’ and their dogs movements upstairs, but that’s the only noise. Very cute space, lots of interesting artwork.

Labor day waterfall hiking and winery trip and disc golf at Jackson Park.

Everything was wonderful and no complaints. Wifi a little slow and we couldn't get TV to work but we weren't in our room for much of our stay. Very hospitable owners.

Better than I could have hoped for!

My stay with Laurie and Bob was amazing! Everything went so smoothly and they were the kindest, most gracious hosts I've experienced. They thought of everything a homeaway needs, which made our stay extra cozy. Their place was quiet, extremely clean, and just plain adorable. Our stay in Hendersonville was absolutely perfect!

Just What we Wanted

We felt lucky this property was available for our last-minute visit to HVL for the week of July 4. It was a great value and an outstanding location--a quiet street surrounded by nature, yet very close to downtown HVL and convenient to all the attractions of the area. The VRBO listing details and photos are accurate, so no surprises. The owners are awesome and we hope to return soon (unless my wife talks me into buying a place up here!).

Cute but noisy

This little hideaway is just as cozy as promised. The owners did a good job making the space comfortable. However, if you’re a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you. Though there may not be a way to remedy it, the ceiling is not insulated and therefore you can hear everything going on upstairs. That also means the owners can probably hear you! We would certainly return if in the area again.

Loved the place!!!!very Cozy and welcoming i didnt wanna go home!!! The hosts couldnt be sweeter either and are easy to get in touch with! They even had snacks there waiting for you and im pretty sure that it is the most comfortable bed i ever slept in!!! Will definitely recommend and return!

Thoughtfully designed

Laurie and Bob thought of everything when they designed this amazing space. We were in town for my daughters registration for Brevard College and the touches felt like home. The location was great and they really did make us feel welcome with the goodies and beverages. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you both for the amazing stay!
