◘ MOUNTAIN TOP SETTING
Apple-achian Point sits perched atop Love Mountain, and parts of the property feature open natural terrain and elevated areas without railings. We ask all guests — especially families with young children — to stay mindful of surroundings when exploring outdoors. The panoramic views are absolutely worth it; just enjoy them safely!
◘ RENTAL AGREEMENT
To finalize your reservation, we require a signed rental agreement. This confirms that you understand and agree to our policies. Without it, the booking will be canceled.
◘ TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel Insurance is highly recommended: There are no refunds for transportation disruptions, event cancellation, unexpected illness or injury, weather or natural conditions, jury duty or court appearances, or any unforeseen events beyond our control or responsibility.
◘ MOUNTAIN ROADS & DRIVEWAY
The cabin is located high in the mountains with steep, narrow, mostly one-way roads. The driveway is tight and has limited space for turning around. Please drive carefully. We can accommodate up to 5 vehicles.
◘ QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD
We’re in a peaceful, residential mountain community. Please be considerate—no parties, loud music, or shouting. Sound carries far up here. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM.
◘ PET POLICY
We happily allow up to 2 dogs, each under 40 lbs, with a $250 non-refundable fee. Dogs must be in good health, vaccinated, and free of fleas/ticks. Please do not allow them on beds or furniture, and never leave them unattended. Always leash them outdoors and clean up after them.
◘ NO SMOKING OR VAPING
For everyone's comfort, smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property—including balconies, driveway, or backyard.
◘ NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS OR VISITORS
Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed on the property. Visitors must be approved in advance. At no time may the number of people on the property—including visitors—exceed the maximum occupancy limit.
◘ BEARS & WILDLIFE
Bears and other wild animals are common in the area. Please stay alert, never leave food or trash outside, and keep your distance from any wildlife you encounter.
◘ NATURE REMINDER
Even with regular pest control, our mountain setting means the occasional insect, spider, or rodent might appear. We want to make sure every guest is comfortable with the full mountain experience.
◘ WATER & SEPTIC SYSTEM
The cabin uses clean well water that’s safe for drinking and cooking. Please conserve water when possible. Only flush toilet paper—no wipes or feminine products. Avoid pouring grease, oil, or chemicals down the drain to protect the septic system.
◘ INTERNET SERVICE
We provide Starlink internet with speeds up to 250 Mbps. Speeds may vary with weather or high usage. Please note there is no cable TV.
◘ TRASH SERVICE
Trash is picked up after checkout. Bag all trash and keep the outdoor bin latched. Please take excess trash to a local dumpster to avoid wildlife encounters.
◘ EV CHARGER
A Grizzl-E Level 2 charger (240V / 40A) is available at no extra cost. Please bring your own adapter.
◘ EQUIPMENT USE
Please bring the telescope and put the cover of the TV after use to protect it from damage.
◘ GRILL & FIRE PIT
Both run on gas. Use safely and keep fire risk in mind. One propane tank is provided—additional fuel is guest responsibility.
◘ SAUNA & HOT TUB
Use at your own risk and follow posted rules. The hot tub has a locking cover — please keep it in place when not in use. No lifeguard or attendant. Children must be supervised at all times.
◘ DECK & CLIFF EDGE
There is a fall risk—no climbing or leaning over the edge. Supervise children and keep outdoor lights on at night for safety.
◘ SWING SEATS & BUNK BEDS
Fun but fragile—follow weight limits and supervise children at all times.
