The hotel was very quaint and comfortable. It is in a quiet area and right on Henderson Bay on Lake Ontario. The water view was beautiful. The surprise was having a bonfire right at the water's edge. The staff was also awesome.

We just stayed at the Gillhouse (my elderly father and two young children) and it was absolutely wonderful. So scenic, relaxing, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. We will most definitely make this a summer tradition.

The word I would use to describe this place is "special". The workers all went out of their way to be hospitable. It was quiet and serene but there was a lot to do. The other guests were interesting and friendly. The restaurant was excellent and service was great. Very positive experience.

The owner and his sister could not have been nicer, the property is newly renovated, immaculate with great views of fun Tavern style bar and a great restaurant. Highly recommend it.

We walked in and the owner Steve V. greeted us, showed us to our room, explained how things worked, and was so friendly. It is the most beautiful location. The restaurant was great as well as the lake view and sunset. Do stay here if you have a chance.

Location location… beautiful views. Gracious and accommodating dining staff. Food was great. The grounds were kid and kid at heart friendly. Outdoor games. The porch! I can’t say enough good things.

We were pleasantly surpised. The view of the lake was beautiful! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back.

the inn was in a lovely area with pretty views of the water. Rooms were very comfortable and well decorated. The restaurant had a great menu and there are other nice restaurants nearby. the staff was very accomodating, Overall five stars!

Probably the most beautiful hotel during our trip. Newly refurbished, they've done a great job of creating calming , tasteful rooms. Good dinner in the restaurant. They happily accommodated our bike overnight. Serene lawns with adironaks going down to the lake. A perfect stay.

Our stay at the Gill House was very comfortable. The location is wonderful- right on the lake, with lots of area to roam around. The view is great, and pleanty of chairs by the lake to relax in. The restaurant is good, and the staff friendly. My only negative comment is the size of our room. It was extremely small, along with the bath size. There is no room for a chair in the room, so the bed is the only place to sit. There are several much larger rooms, which would be preferred, and if we are in the area in the future, we will check these out.

Room was very nice but small (after all it’s an inn). Staff was kind of one person, pleasant but hard to find at times. Attached restaurant was great, food was great.mattress was a little softer than we are comfortable with. Don’t expect a breakfast, consisted of coffee and packaged breakfast bars

The place is text book Adirondacks... Chairs in back yard facing lake. Playing with the dog in the lake. Dinner was awesome. Alot of food.. Take your shoes off Go hug one of the big trees in the back . All most get a shock.. Nice. Bandit Loved it. We're headed back up for salmon ..

A Thursday night I called them on the way and told them that I would be coming after 8pm. And they askey me place an order for food as the kitchen will closing. I loved it, it was ready when I arrived! Fantastic And the room was great. Plus coffee was ready at 7am in the hallway. Great prices. All good 5* Thanks!
