*Just Added* 14x16 deck on back of home for you to enjoy the view of the wooded property! Need a break from the city? Bring the whole family to this new, 3 bedroom home with 1600 square feet and 9 foot ceilings throughout. Plenty of room for fun and relaxation! Located on 3 private acres but surrounded by national forestry, you won't be disappointed in the modern conveniences that the home has to offer.
Wi-fi, laundry room, full kitchen, etc. 2 bedrooms have queen beds. 1 bedroom has bunk beds. 7 blocks from the Hardin Ridge park entrance and Lake Monroe. Home was built in 2021!
Other things to note
Modern accommodations with plenty of room to relax in a peaceful setting. If you want to leave (you won't have to), you are 20 minutes from Bloomington shopping, restaurants, and entertainment!
This is a new home that was built in 2021 on privately owned land.
Additional rules
Must be 25 to rent.
Sorry, no pets are allowed. No smoking inside of the home.
Self-entry through the side door (code will be provided).
The master bedroom closet is not accessible to guests.
Bedroom closets 2 and 3 are available.
No events or parties.
No keys to lose or to return! This property provides secure, keyless entry with an August Smart Lock. You can lock and unlock the door with your smartphone, using a unique virtual key or personal entry code issued to you for the duration of your stay.

Wonderful home!

The house was beautiful and well kept and had everything you needed to feel comfortable. All amenities. It was decorated so nicely also and was very spacious. We were there for IUs graduation and it was reasonably priced and about 25 minutes from campus.

Wonderful stay

Our stay was fantastic. The house is exactly as advertised. This was a trip to get away for Thanksgiving with our daughter, son-in-law and 3 granddaughters and we all enjoyed our time away and would rent here again.

Wonderful Fall Weekend Stay

We had a wonderful weekend visit to the new home in Heltonville IN. The home is new, clean and well equipped. We took full advantage of the modern kitchen, fireplace and outdoor firepit. Its location is fantastic for nature lovers as it abuts Hoosier National Park and is close to Hardin Ridge State Park. It certainly did not hurt that the weather was beautiful and maximized the colorful Fall foliage! Would recommend heartily for anyone who loves nature and wants to explore Indiana University and the Bloomington IN area.

Great stay

We were visiting our daughter at IU and what to stay somewhere quiet and outside of town. This was a perfect pick. Close the lake and National Forest and only a 15 min or so drive to Bloomington. The property was very nice and we had all the amenities that needed. Thanks so much for the use of the property-we really enjoyed it.

Best VRBO you can get! Very accommodating- very clean

We stayed here visiting Indiana University and loved this property. Beautiful layout and very clean rooms. Owner was very friendly as well, would highly recommend this property! 10 out of 10!

Easy check in process and property well-maintained. Great location near tons of hiking trails and a wilderness area. Not too far from Bloomington either. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Great modern property in a quiet remote location

My friends and I had a wonderful experience here. The house has modern finishes and all the creature comforts you could ask for. The owners are tremendous communicators. Our group had a couple questions and they were responsive and patient. I strongly recommend this property for a quiet, nature-centric getaway!

Best of both worlds

We loved staying at the Heltonville home. It is a very comfortable , clean, and spacious (recently built) home. We used it as our home base to explore Bloomington and Nashville for the weekend. It was so nice to be on the outskirts of Bloomington and have a nice peaceful evenings (and campfires) in rural Monroe County. I will 100% go here next time I visit Bloomington/Lake Monroe.

Parents Weekend at IU

The home is spotless and very cozy! It is brand new and Kristy was always available and helpful. It is surrounded by woods and great for people that want a true get away or a hiking trip. we were visiting our son at IU. It is about 30 mins away. It was great this time since our son stayed with us but if you want to go back and forth a lot it is a bit of a drive but the home made it worth the drive this time. I wish it was closer since it is much better then a hotel in Bloomington!!

Parents weekend to Bloom

Wow! This property was as described and some. Enjoyed the secluded location yet still close to everything. You really have thought of everything. We enjoyed our weekend, visiting with our kids in Bloomington and attended the rainy football game. Returned to the house to finish watching the game. The covered area was great for us to set out our wet tailgate items, so they could dry some before packing up. We will definitely look to see if this rental is available for our next Bloomington visit. Thanks for being great to work with Kristy.

Just what we were looking for

Beautiful house on a beautiful property. We enjoyed our mini-getaway. Loved hiking on nearby trails, visiting Lake Monroe and Bluespring Caverns and getting ice cream at Brusters! Kids already talking about going back when it’s warm.

Perfect for our family

This home was perfect for our family vacation. Everything was new and clean, nicely decorated and thoughtfully arranged. The home was well stocked and equipped with every appliance we could possibly need. Other great features were the great kitchen, fast wifi, streaming services for tv, and fireplace. All contributed to a fun and relaxing stay in Indiana!

Home Away from Home

This home is so nice with modern features and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the kitchen with a very large island with new appliances and everything we needed to prepare and have great meals together. We were there with our best friends from IU and wouldn’t change a thing!! We loved our stay!

Wonderful Property

This was a new property and really nice. The electric fireplace was something new for us and we loved it. We were there for a long overdue sisters weekend and it worked out perfectly for us. Kristy was very responsive to questions prior to booking and readily available when we needed to contact her during out stay. One of our party was underoing physical therapy and could not really sleep all night in a bed so having an electric recliner in the living room worked great for them to use part time for sleep. Right down the road from Hardin Ridge which was a wonderful place to drive through to enjoy more fall color. Would definetly stay here again!

Great escape for a family

Fantastic hosts, immaculate property. Everything from the appliances to the furniture were outstanding. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, modern decor with fast Wi-Fi. Location is great.Outstanding mountain biking, lake access and GOLF just a few minutes away. Awesome property with great outdoor space. Have stayed in many properties with VRBO, this one is really special.
