"Very helpful staff’s"

"I very rarely leave reviews but Ishq was exceptional. If you are looking for an alternative to big, chain hotels this small, intimate property is perfect. Beautiful rooms and spaces with personal service. Food exceptional. Thanks Darshana."

"Don’t be mistaken as the hotel advertises they are 3 mi from the airport - they are close to the domestic flights airport not the international airport (they are 40 KM away so it will cost you à big surcharge plus one hour travel time)"

"Small boutique hotel in the heart of Colombo, walking distance to the ATM, cafes and restaurants. Service is friendly, personal and non- intrusive. Pool is small but enough for a quick dip. Gym is tiny but enough. Third time staying, will be back!"

"Eventhough Expedia says "House keeping everyday", no house keeping at all. When I asked the staff the reply was "we only do house keeping every 4 days". I stayed for 3 nights."

"We had such a lovely stay at Havelock Bungalow! The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The bungalow itself is beautiful, full of character and very well looked after, with such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the level of care and hospitality really made our stay special. A special mention has to go to...

"Good"

"This is my very first stay at this hotel & I was told it's under a new ownership for the last 6-7 years. The Front Desk & the Housekeeping crew were very friendly, courteous & attentive. I was given two free 500ml bottles drinking water per day which was very helpful. The bedroom & bathroom linens were very clean without any stains. The air conditioner was perfect for me, but the elevator failed for two and a half days due to lack of spare parts. I was on the 3rd floor, and the Front...

"Nice, quiet, and convenient location in heart of Colombo. A property in its own category. Friendly staff."

"while I was checking in front desk staff specifically one girl was very rude, I might never being rude with my guest like that while working. Then there room floor was not that clean also the window glass. I booked sea view room due to the blurr window i couldn’t enjoy the view that much. AC was not working on the night. We called on the front desk told them the problem but they didn’t respond. On the breakfast there is a old guy working he was literally racist.. He asked me 3/4 times that which...

"The room was nice but there was cockroaches in our bed"

"Dirty and the house keeping entered my room early morning. Otherwise nice staff."

"In general for a three star hotel it is ok, however the toilet had an stuffy smell, which may be coming from the drains. Otherwise every thing is good"
