"This was a very last minute booking. I appreciate that there was a room available. Very quirky arrangement. The full bed was upstairs with a low ceiling and the twin was next to the window. The room was cold and guests do not have thermostat control. Upon arrival we had a difficult time finding reception as the door was not marked or lit up in any way. Shower was nice and hot with great pressure and the hotels location is a very easy walk to anything you might want."

"My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 days and have zero faults! The entire place was incredibly clean and the beds were SO comfortable. On top of that, Tracey was lovely! The breakfasts were all expertly made (I made my way through a couple of them) and the entire stay had a homely feel that didn’t feel overpowering. The room had amenities most hotels don’t provide, including Prime, Disney, Netflix and NowTV logged in on the tv. The venue is bang in the middle of old town and literally a stones...

"The house was absolutely freezing when we arrived, downstairs bedrooms smelled of damp. It took hours for the house to warm up and the kitchen and front downstairs bedroom didn’t ever warm up. The heating should have been set to come on so that it was warm before our expected arrival.There are draughts coming in around the windows in the kitchen, you can’t be in this room without the log burner on, Cold air comes down the fireplace in bedroom 1 which has a sheet stuffed up it to no effect, it...
