"There was a house built of stone at the far west end of Hartville"...nestled in the trees you will find this stone cottage, ready to host your escape from the busy world. Located in Historic Hartville (pop. 62) you are just minutes from Guernsey State Park, a short walk to the oldest bar in in Wyoming or the Hartville museum, a quick drive to Sunrise mining and archeological sites and ideally located to many historic sites including Register Cliff, the Oregon Trail Ruts and Old Fort Laramie.

Beautiful home in a very small town. I could sit on the porch in the morning with my coffee before anyone else was up and listen to all the birds and watch the squirrels chase around. Then, in the afternoon, there were a bunch of mule deer in the yard. Exactly what we needed in the middle of a long road trip.

We highly recommend this “cozy cottage” !! Easy check in, answered questions, had everything needed for our 5day stay. Exploring the area and state parks had awesome views. Fort Laramie was interesting to visit. And the weather was warm ! 👍😎👍

Clean, quiet and perfect size for our girls trip. We did day trips all over so we only really slept and showered there. Beds were clean and comfortable. The shower had wonderful water pressure.

The check in process on line was seamless. When we arrived at the cabin we were blown away with how cute it was!! Each day we were completely surprised with how well thought out the host were. We had EVERYTHING we needed and even some things we didn’t even think we needed but did! Questions were answered quickly and directly. The cabin was very clean and the towns people were super friendly. I give this cabin a 10 out of 10!! I hope to stay again next year!!

We loved our stay! We are in our late 50’s and have stayed at VRBO’s many, many times. This ranks amongst the best. Communication with our host was easy and quick, check in was seamless, the property was clean, clean, clean! The hosts thought of EVERYTHING we would need for a comfortable stay. The decorations were a mix of classic Wyoming with contemporary touches. The couch and bed were super comfy. I would not change a thing. I especially appreciated the checkout process which was: throw linens in the tub, turn lights off and lock up! Other properties I have stayed at had extensive cleaning checkout processes which always irritate me. We had to end our vacation doing chores…NOT at this location! We hope to stay again if we ever choose Wyoming as a vacation destination!

Great property that was easy access to Guernsey and all the area has to offer. Everything was top notch - from the linens to the products that were left for our use. As a fellow VRBO property owner, I was very impressed. Will definitely return again on our next trip to Wyoming.

We totally enjoyed our stay. It was our base for three days of traveling around Southeast Wyoming and it suited our needs perfectly. Great location. Great history. And really, really nice accommodations. Would love to stay here again if we are ever in the area.

This place was a dream! We loved everything about it. Quite, peaceful, comfortable and charming. It was also very clean and above and beyond stocked with everything you could need. We absolutely loved our stay in Hartville. The place was in a perfect location, and we loved the quiet historic town of Hartville. The hosts were wonderful and the property was clean, charming, and cozy. Make some memories you will never forget ans stay here!!

There's a saying "What you see is what you get" will this cottage was more then that with all the extra love and care that came with the cottage made our trip and stay one of the most wonderful time. We were visiting family for a week and they also was amazed with the cottage and all the extras. We took advantaged of cooking on the grill and was amazed again that all we needed was our food to cook. Everything else was already at the cottage. We look forward to staying again. Thank you for everything!!!😊
