Palacios en Harrogate

"Escogí a este hotel por el diseño y la cercanía a York. Se tarde 30 minutos en tren desde Harrogate (1 hora en coche !). El hotel es una joya, elegante, muy limpio, con baños muy modernos y unos desayunos espectaculares. Esta muy cuidado y se muestra el buen gusto de los dueños. En cuanto a Harrogate, es menos conocido pero merece la pena la visita, especialmente por los parques, tiendas, los baños turcos y Betty's Tearoom, donde se puede disfrutar del mejor afternoon tea!"

"A perfect place to stay after a long day's walk on the Nidderdale Way. The appartement was lovely and warm when we arrived and enjoyed a good hot shower in the shower room. The kitchen was small but everything we needed to make breakfast before starting the next leg of the walk, The bed was very comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Had a good meal and a couple of good pints in the Crown Inn which was only a 2 minute walk away."

"Disappointing. Booked this hotel due to the free Airport Shuttle Bus. Arrived well within the advised operating hours of the shuttle bus. Called the number given by the hotel to be asvised the number was no longer in operation. Was left stranded at Pearson Airport at 21.30 with no option but to get a taxi which cost $36 to travel less than 2km. Would have been better paying more for a better property. Really dissapointing."

"Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Food was very good. Hotel was well positioned to access all the main attractions of Harrogate. Car parking very limited and very tight for large cars. Room was adequate but cramped but bathroom was modern and well equipped. Shower over bath and as bath was deep getting in and out for small and older clients very difficult. "We stayed in room 7, adequate for what we needed for two nights but the en-suite was quite small.There are quite a lot of stairs up to the room, we also had a problem getting into the property as the electronic locks did not work as described.We received a message saying to use the last four digits of our phone number,this did not work!On the message the numbers were different to my number and this was where the confusion started. I had to call the agent for access and they said try the number...
