"The B's Hive" is a 2 bedroomed bijou style semi detached property right in the heart of Harrogate. A small house with two small double bedrooms, modern appliances, well equipped kitchen and walking distance to popular Harrogate attractions; Valley Gardens, Betty's Tea Rooms, The stray, etc. Train and bus station are also approximately a 15 mins walk, allowing visits to, York, Ripon, and the two national parks. An excellent base for walking, cycling and exploring the stunning views of the Dales

A beautiful, quaint setting for a stay

This was our 1st experience of a VRBO stay. A quick over nighter.Good communications with host prior to arrival and on arrival, when things weren't as they should be, it was sorted in minutes.I'd describe it as a Hobbit home, small, charming, stunning. Everything you need for a stay over.Quality location for walking into townAnd would definitely stay again

B's Hive is convenient for activities in Harrogate with dining opportunities fairly close by. Although it has a good kitchen the bathroom is tiny and we weren't prepared for 'bijoux' bedrooms! No drawers or room for clothes unfortunately. Overall, you can call it cosy, and warm enough ( we had snow)

Harrogate overnight

Stayed here for one night. Directions were not great, the address on the website is not the address of the property you will be staying in. We were told to park in Chatsworth place and look for white patio doors. What we actually should have been told is the property is up the back of a small inlet between property numbers 33 and 37. This would of saved time wondering around trying to find the property. We had to park outside someone else’s house half on path half on road, so was a bit worried about the car. But it was fine. Property was clean, although stains on carpets and tatty furniture. I had to leave my bag down stairs as in the bedrooms basically the beds fill the whole room, no space down either side of the bed. Bathroom again clean but very small. Bedding basic quality. No detailed instructions for oven, and no oven gloves or tea towel to be able to remove hot items from the oven, or to dry dishes. Luckily we were only here for one night. Good location to walk into Harrogate, It served a purpose but I would not revisit. Reasonable price for two bedrooms.

A little disappointed.

The B’s Hive is convenient for proximity to Harrogate centre. However, it needs a little care in some areas with regard to cleanliness and comfort. We found the place cold and were unable to get the heating on as it was switched off, (despite it being July we have had a very wet month) and there was no fuel for the fire. The host came to rectify; renewed batteries and input the PIN code to reconnect the heating, but this took up some of our evening and was inconvenient. Getting in and out of bed proved to be a challenge, perhaps remove a kick board or replace with a divan or ideally 2 x 3/4 beds, understanding it would reduce occupancy/rates but the rooms are too small to fit double beds comfortably. Some basics are missing such as: a tea towel, teaspoons, bath mat and only 1 small bath towel per person. Key code and poor directions to the property were shared 1:30 check in time via the App / telephone call but after ringing the host for help, we were directed while we walked. 3* at best.

Cute and close to shops

The house was exactly as described and pictured, and is in easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The owner was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with.

Super stay

We stayed for 1 night for my mums 60th. Great location with a short walk into town. Very cosy cottage with extremely comfy beds. Would stay here again.
