Family weekend on the lake

Great gathering place for my family, parents, and two Brothers with their families for the weekend!It’s been years since we’ve all been able to be together. We were able to bring our boats and spend a nice weekend on the lake. Great big place with plenty of room for all of us!

Perfection!

Our family of 5 very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful lakefront home. From the amazing hospitality to the comfortable beds, we couldn’t have asked for more. If you want a true family retreat book this lovely home. We are very much hoping to be back !

Great place for a family getaway

We had a great time at the lake with our family here. Some of the finishes of the house weren't as nice as I would hope, but overall it was a great place for our family and a nice place to get away.

Beautiful Lake Property

What a wonderful experience! The house was clean and extremely comfortable. The location on the lake cannot be better! Will book again next summer!

A wonderful place for three generations of our family to gather! We enjoyed hanging out on the upper dock deck, swimming, and my son caught a big fish almost every night right off the dock! Lots of birds to see as well. We rented a pontoon boat, and visited some sights in Chattanooga (Rock City, Incline, Point Park, and a minor league ball game). Sunsets from the deck were beautiful. There were plenty of sleeping options our family, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and baking. The huge comfy couch was a great place to gather and watch a movie. The many bathrooms were definitely a plus! We had a couple of issues (with AC and plumbing) but the property manager was very responsive and these issues were addressed right away. He even brought us an iron when we needed one! One thing to know about the house is that there are many steps down to the water. Also would recommend taking your boat directly to Harrison State Park Marina instead of parking it at the house because the driveway is steep and difficult to turn around in with a truck and trailer. We had a trip we will never forget and would stay there again!

Rooms were ok on cleanliness. The outdoor grill was unusable. The outside area needed to be cleared of trash. The first 2 days of our 3 day stay the downstair’s AC was not cooling. The thermostat showed 77 degrees. The third day was a bit cooler due to an overcast day. Parking was difficult by the steep incline of the driveway. Not easily maneuvered by large vehicles. There isn’t a solution to this but a heads up on the description would be nice. There was only one half roll of paper towels for a family of 14 for a 3 day stay. After contacting the Evolve group we were given the lock combination to open the supply closet where we did find some paper towels. Along with AC filters that we were told to use to replace the completely plugged up ones and had been installed backwards.The lake view was lovely.

Great Lake House!

Very nice house with a beautiful spot on the lake. The house is well stocked and nicely furnished and the owner was responsive and great to deal with. We come to Lake Chickamauga every year for an event and will definitely be back!

Great place

We really enjoyed our time at this house. It was spacious and exactly as described. The main challenge was navigating the steep, curving driveway and limited parking spaces since two of our group had large vehicles.

Great Week on the Lake

Beautiful house with spectacular views. Comfortable beds, private bathrooms for each bedroom and a well-furnished kitchen. The upper level of the dock provided a nice place to sit out of the sun while the lower level was great for swimming. The property manager, Bobby Wheeler, handled our one minor concern promptly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful lakefront home.

Would stay again!

House was great with plenty of room for our entire family. Bobby, the property manager, was THE BEST! Attentive to our every need. Don’t hesitate to rent!

Great Lake home

We had a youth group conference to attend & the teen had some great fellowship time on the dock as well as some relaxing time! Jesus is coming back soon!

Great family getaway

Overall fantastic stay. House is beautiful. Convenience of personal dock was great for our boat and jet ski rentals. The ONLY complaints are that the kitchen potholders and the bathroom rugs were not clean and the driveway proved rather difficult for our 3 vehicles to maneuver.

Our 8 day stay.

Great house. We slept 11 easily. Great Lake and superb location on the lake. We brought a canoe and rented two boats for the week. Great fishing and restaurants. Played games every night and cooked on outdoor porch and kitchen. Would go again.

Great getaway

This house was perfect for our 8 visitors. Bathrooms and TV’s in each bedroom were appreciated. When we arrived, there were all the ingredients for breakfast the following day, also lots of snacks. Plenty of beach towels so you do not have to bring your own (FYI, it is not listed). We had a great time!

WOW

Beautiful house that was more than we expected from the photos. Perfect space for our family gathering for Lee graduation weekend. Loved all the extra touches like shampoo/soap in every bathroom. Spent lots of time on the second level of the boat dock, gorgeous and relaxing. Just pack a lunch as the walk back up is a grind :) Bobby & LeAnn (local contacts during stay) were wonderful and very responsive. Highly recommend this property and hope to visit again!

A relaxing weekend getaway

My friends and I were more than delighted with the property. The house was very clean and had more than enough room to accommodate 8 adults. The lake was warm and clean. The dock, upper level of the boat house, and back porch gave us some wonderful views and were perfect for catching some sun or playing some games. I would love to go back and I can’t recommend this place enough!

Perfect for the whole family

Had a family birthday weekend with ten people from ages 6 to 63 and the home was perfect for all of them. The kids had their own room to watch movies and have cousin time, while the adults all had king size beds to relax in after an exciting day down at the dock…so plenty of space for our group. Bobby answered all our questions before we got there and was a pleasure to work with. Overall we would definitely recommend this home.

Lake View

The house is really a great house, but it is showing some wear. We loved the upstairs and the views from the bedrooms on the lake. The view of the lake is amazing, and the back deck was very nice. The dock sitting area needs to be cleaned. Overall, the house is a good house but needs some attention. The listing said it is good for elderly and that is questionable. One bedroom is on the main level which is great, but the stairs to the lake are very steep and not for the elderly. The house does have many features and would be great fun for young families. Also, the driveway is very steep and it is tight getting two cars in the garage.

Rooms were ok on cleanliness. Although there were many dead bugs throughout the house as though the place was not swept well. The outdoor grill was so dirty and nasty we could not use it. There was trash on the property. We did speak to the host/mngr team on several occasions concerning AC not working. Would not cool below 77 degrees. There were other details around house we had concerns about such as the large glass top dining table in the kitchen was unstable and would tilt and rock like it would slide off its base if any pressure was applied. Parking was made difficult by the steep incline of the driveway. Not easily maneuvered by large SUV’s. I realize there isn’t a solution to this but a heads up on the description would be nice. There was only one half roll of paper towels for a family of 14 for a 3 day stay. After contacting the Evovle group we were given the lock combination to open the supply closet where we did find some paper towels. Along with AC filters that we were told to use to replace the completely plugged up ones and had been installed backwards. I must say we have stayed in several AirBnB’s and VRBOS over the years and this is my first time to give a negative review.

Very nice property with Great View

8 senior citizens who travel together every year over the New Years Day time. We enjoy going to different locales and different homes that offer different amenities. This property was very nice. It was mostly as described. The home is showing its age a little (much like me). The kitchen was missing a very important tool..........a wine cork screw!!!! Seriously, it's a very nice home and the 8 of us were very comfortable.

Beautiful views

The views and entire home was absolutely beautiful. We truly enjoyed the special touches, such as plenty of shampoo/conditioner/lotion luxury hand/wash and bath towels. The kitchen had absolutely everything you would need, even fully stocked with coffee, powder creamer, sugar sweeteners and even stevia. The furnishings were so comfortable and the art and decor was amazing. Although we were here for a wedding and did not spend a lot of time in the home, we would love to come back and utilize more of the amenities that are available. The owner was very responsive and helpful during check in and checkout. We’ll be back 😃

Ginger Gee

The house and view are spectacular. The dock furniture was covered in pollen, so we did not get to use it. But I am sure after the pollen is gone, it would be a nice place to sit by the lake. The driveway is STEEP! We had 3 suv's and 1 car and were able to manage it without any problems. I noticed in the pictures there were no lounge chairs on the large deck so I brought my own. The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and i would definitely book this place again.
