"We love coming to the knoll house, it is clean and quirky and has a lot of history attached to it. The food is lovely. It’s very dog friendly beautiful Studland beach is across the road. It has a small pool and Swanage is five minutes drive down the road. It’s a very relaxing place to be."

Ate two nights in the bar/restaurant, staff very good, food lovely, excellent selection for gluten free which was amazing to experience. "What a great weekend spent at this amazing hotel. The staff were so friendly and professional. The room was huge, extremely clean and had a great view of the horses in the neighbouring field. The main selling point for us was that this hotel was dog friendly. Needless to say, we will be returning next year."
