THE HOTEL STAFF WAS GREAT. THE FREE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD, BUT THE DINNER WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE. 2RD FLOOR HALLWAY CARPET NEEDS CLEANING BADLY. WE HAD A KING BED SUITE AND WITH THE KITCHEN YOU COULD LIVE THERE A LONG TIME. REAL NICE FEEL TO THE PLACE.

POOR MANAGEMENT....expect poor customer service!!!!

When checking in the front desk staff was very kind and welcoming, however when going over the agreement of our stay we were surprised to find out that our smoking 2 bed room was not avaliable and that we would be forced to stay in a 1 bed non smoking room at the same cost. I have booked with expedia many times and i have never had any issues with any other reservation i have had. When contacting the front desk afterwards to discuss possible solutions to our problem we come to find out that there is no manager on duty till the next day at 8 in the morning. I was very displeased to hear that a business that relies on customer service would not have someone on duty at all times to deal with issues. The hotel just seemed poorly managed in all respects. The girl at the front desk was also the person who took care of our room service, how can one person run a hotel with 350 rooms by themselves? I booked this hotel knowing that it was a bit nicer then the avg competition and i expected it to be that way the rooms may be nice and clean, however however so are most hotels that continue business on a day to day basis. I feel cheated and would never stay at this hotel ever again. You would get better service at a motel then this place.

Wish I could have stayed longer.

We got to the hotel and was greeted by friendly staff We were able to check in an hour early. We were surprised to find out that not only did we get a free full breakfast with our room but also Tues--Thursday there was free light dinner also. We arrived Wed. Perfect timing.Our room was fantastic with A/C, Heater that you controlled. Big king size bed, wireless internet, TV, full size fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, big bathroom, pull out couch if needed and work desk. Breakfast in the morning was great they had everything, muffins, bagels, toast, french toast, make your own waffles, eggs, bacon, sausages, cereal, coffee, tea, juices, milk, fruit and yogurt. The light dinner was just that not too fancy but filling and came with the room. The rooms were quiet and clean. The staff was vert helpful and even called up to our room to tell us we left the lights on at our car. The room was a bit much for just two nights thats why I wish we could have stayed longer. I would love to spend a week there and use all of the facilities. We never got a chance to go swimming in the heated indoor pool. Maybe next time.

"Amazed Every Time"

For the past 4 years our family has been staying at the Staybridge in Hamilton Ontario and it continues to get better. The reason we come so often is because our son is in school there and it's close to him. The staff are always on top of their game, the place is always spotless and we feel totally at home. It's small and family like and we love it. Thank You Staybridge !!! The Santucci's From Bermuda

would not stay again

front desk not friendly elevator very, very slow and we were only on the second floor. tub/sink drained very slowly, at least 6 inches of water in the tub by the time i finished my shower having a "kitchen" which was tiny, made the room feel cramped we did not watch tv but if we wanted to it would have been difficult as the tv was on a shelf in a cabinet and could not be viewed from the couch or bed. perhaps a more modern LCD tv would make viewing easier.

hotel was clean and nice. not very big only 3 floors so it felt very homely. only stayed one night but was a good experience. Has a full kitchen which is nice for extended business trips.

Good Place for Extended Visits

This hotel is a good choice for anyone on an extended business trip or vacation. All rooms are suites with fully-equipped kitchenettes so you can prepare some meals in your room and not have to eat out all the time (although they serve a good breakfast buffet every morning in the downstairs area). The only complaints we had about this place were the parking (hotel parking lot is inadequate for number of cars, resulting in double parking), and the fold-out bed (the frame was very uncomfortable, although the mattress was sufficient when placed on the floor).

Good location

Good location in Hamilton, got a single bed instead of two, they tried to get me a double, the room we finally got smelled like someone had been cooking in it. But it wasn't so bad. Timmy's right around the corner, so the is the town center, mall.

Friendly and courteous people. Need to have clear instructions on how to dial outside local calls (9+905 then number)NOT just dial 9 and number.
