Amazing vacation home located in Northeast Indiana's beautiful Steuben County, on beautiful 854 acre All Sports Hamilton Lake, the fourth largest lake in the state of IN!

Vintage 1920's cottage has been recently updated to include high end modern amenities, all while keeping its original rustic feel. Our home promises not to disappoint.

Hamilton Lake is just 10 minutes from Angola and is perfect for all your fishing, water sports, shopping, wine tasting, antique shopping, tobogganing, ice skating in the winter and just spending time with family. Included in the rental: Pier for your boat, gas grill, bikes, kayak, pedal boat, Otter Island Raft with pop up seats, corn hole and much more. With 80 feet of lake frontage, and a sandy bottom, it's perfect for all swimming activities. There is also a park right behind our property with basketball court and play set, picnic tables and room for kids to run.

If you are interested in boat rentals, 2 of the 3 Marinas on Hamilton Lake offer boat rental services. Clark's Landing and JB's Water & Wheels.

House has sleeping arrangements for maximum of 12 people. 1 bedroom on main level has a Queen bed. 2 bedrooms on 2nd level, 1 with a King bed, baby crib & sleeping cubby, the 2nd with 1 Queen w/ Twin trundle & 1 additional Twin. Walk out lower level has 2 sleeper sofas, and 1 queen Murphy bed. Pack n play and high chair also available.

My wife and I, and 2 adult sons attended a wedding in Butler. The house is SO well appointed, and totally updated. So relaxing and comfortable. Has to be one of the prettiest views on the entire lake. 5 star recommendation all the way. Thank you for sharing your home !

Our large family easily fit 12 people in beds. Lots of bedding options, from king, queen, twin, trundle, Murphy bed, pull-outs, a couple crib mattresses, and even a pack-n-play. Plenty of sheets, towels, and dining room seating as well. The house was spotless inside and out. Communication couldn't be better. The lakeside property provided a beautiful location to swim, relax and visit. We would definitely return!

This was the best home. Cozy, child and teen-friendly, and most of all, the location of my sister's house is less than a mile away. I loved everything about this home. The owner/host was terrific and answer every question without annoyance. Thank you so much! I can't wait to stay again.

The house was beautiful, well maintained, stocked with everything you could need including life jackets, paddle boat, kayak, floats, and more. Bev was awesome to communicate with, the neighbors were friendly and their properties were also well cared for. The fire pit was perfect, and our kids had a blast.

Overall, our experience was great. The host is overly helpful and great to work with. The neighbors were a little short with us on the extra parking in the park, as they were having a party later in the night. We tried to explain to them, we would be gone as we were getting ready for a wedding. The house was beautiful along with the lake.

We loved this house and had a great stay! The house was everything that was advertised. We would recommend everyone to stay at this house if they are looking to book a week at Hamilton Lake. The owner was very nice to deal with and was very accommodating. We will rent again at some point.

This property is an amazing place for multiple families to spent time relaxing and enjoying the lake. It was clean and had all the amenities needed for indoor and outdoor activities. The view of the lake is priceless, especially if you enjoy sunrise. Hamilton is a special place for our family. We really enjoyed our time here.

The house is lovely with a wall of windows overlooking the lake. The spaces are all excellent from kitchen to dining to living room to bedrooms, lower level apartment and both porches. All beds were quite comfortable. There are stairs down to the docks and lake and a paddle boat and kayak for guest use. There is an easy to use ladder to get into the water. It was cold in the beginning of June but by the end of three weeks was a good temperature. We rented a pontoon boat for one of our three weeks and the 11 year old grandchild loved being pulled behind on a float. Weekends on the lake can be busy but the weekdays in June were very quiet. The youngest (3) grandchild loved the little playground across the lane. Beverley, our hostess, was fantastic and helpful. I highly recommend this rental. We really fell in love with the house, its setup, comfort and decor.

Bev made everything so easy from the time of booking until after check out. She was communicative, helpful, and very professional. This property was perfect for our family with smaller children as there was already a crib and an additional pack-n-play set up for use. The lake views are absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit making s’mores and taking it all in. We will definitely look to book this one again next time we’re headed to the area!

We so enjoyed our week at Lake Hamilton! Bev and her family have created a wonderful setting to relax with family and friends. From the minute we walked in we knew we had made the right choice. The view from the gathering room is fantastic! We enjoyed peaceful evenings sitting on the front and back covered porches and beautiful days on great chairs by the water. Our granddaughter loved the park right across the street. Her love of the toddler swing and slide kept us all busy! The home was spotless with lots of wonderful appliances in the beautiful kitchen. Beds were comfy with beautiful bedding and lots of extras if needed. We rented a pontoon and enjoyed daily cruises on the lake. Neighbors were friendly and helpful! We hope to return next year for another wonderful week. Doug and Lisa Cotter

The property was very nice and well stocked. We were not able to use it as much as we would have liked. My mother in law who was not at the property developed COVID and was admitted into the hospital so we left in a rush Friday. Bev texted about a pillow that was damaged. I called her back and she told me she was very disappointment in how the property was left. We completed everything on the check out list. If the check out list had requested us to clean before leaving we would have. I thought the cleaning fee covered this. I watered her flowers and took out the trash on Sunday as she requested. I have rented vacation homes at through various other rental companies and I probably won't use VRBO again. Don't get me wrong, the property is beautiful it just wasn't worth it for us at this time.

The cottage is charming, very clean, and perfect for families or adults. My three sisters and I spent the weekend there with our 89 year old mother. I appreciated that Bev contacted me well in advance to talk about the stairs and challenges that someone with mobility issues might face. The views of the lake are wonderful and the cottage is so cozy that we didn't even mind the snowy morning on our last day there. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to get away yet still have a comfortable space with all the amenities. Bev was a complete pleasure and always very responsive.
