It is a very spacious unit, very clean and well appointed. It is a basement suite and sound travelled a lot in the house, so we heard pretty much everything going on upstairs.

We stayed here with my daughter and her young family. I did not get notifications from the owner as to how to check in. Once I contacted them they did send the information quickly. As other reviewers have said, the stairs leading to the space are very steep and there is no handrail. The common room and bedrooms are large and the view of a ravine is beautiful. The bathroom is is new and lovely, but as other reviewers have said, the shower curtain! Torn and moldy. Please replace it!! There is a small fridge and microwave which are handy. Parking is simple in the driveway

I was concerned about the instructions for entry of the apartment. Didn't hear from them until late in the day. The family lives upstairs and there was noise. Perfectly understandable as long as you are aware and okay with it. It could've been cleaner. We bought a dollar store shower curtain to hang and left their curtain to be washed, black mold.

This was a beautiful home to stay at . However 1. booked due to location saying it was 10min from the waterfront (I am not from the area) I had an appt to attend on the waterfront . It was Infact out of the way and 30min away during morning traffic. 2. There is a family living upstairs with a child or children and I am all for family , however I wish I had known prior to booking . If you want somewhere quiet or a place to get some work done , this is not the place . It was a bit loud late into the evening and early AM. 3. I was told there was parking . When I arrived the homeowners parked in the designated parking area for guests instead of in their garage and I had to park on the street. I did bring this up and nothing was changed . I remained parked on the street ( beautiful neighbourhood) overnight I would rate this 6/10 due to those concerns

This place was gorgeous, very roomy and in a great location.

This place was very modern and the bedrooms were very nice. My issues was the fact the fridge, microwave, lamps and tv did not work. Also, the stair way down to the suite had no hand rail and lighting was poor at the end of the stairs. Take your chances.
