"My only gripe isn’t the cottage owners fault but that of hotels.com as this properly was listed as reserve now pay on arrival but the money left my account within seconds of booking. Hotels.com excused this by saying it’s in the terms and conditions but don’t advertise as such! "A lovely little cottage tucked away just outside Scarborough. We stayed over for a wedding and it was a convenient 10 minute drive to the registry office. The accommodation was well thought out with everything we needed. The hot tub was set up and ready to use as soon as we arrived, and even a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting in the fridge!! The kids enjoyed themselves and especially liked watching the nesting swallows and meeting the resident horse in the stables. Great location, but...

"Wow! This apartment far exceeded our expectations. Spacious 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom on the top floor with a gorgeous sea view. Elevator opens into the apartment which takes a little getting used to! Well-equipped kitchen, huge dining room and living room with stairs leading down to the second bedroom. Main bedroom on the main level is lovely and very comfortable. Lots of storage allows you to unpack. The living room furniture could be replaced; the cushions are shot and furniture smells musty....

"After reading some bad reviews I was a little sceptical about here but to my delight I was very happy n amazed at the lodge we stayed in very clean had everything needed. The staff was very welcoming and happy to help in anyway. The toilets - well i walked in said "wow" best toilets iv seen anywhere. "What a lovely place, we hired a beautiful Bell tent for 2 nights. It was set up with all the essentials on our arrival. The plot had plenty of space around to set up bbq room and room for kids to play. The site, washrooms and kitchen were like new, very well maintained regularly cleaned. I have a pet allergy so the no pets policy was a great bonus here for me too. We had a great time and will book again. Thank you. "
