    Gorgeous Home on 2 acres right on the Gunnison River! 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, sleeps 10. Fire Pit!



    The Space:

    With almost 3,000 square feet of living space and a 2 acre manicured yard on the Gunnison river, "Diamond On The River" is indeed a special vacation property. This home couldn`t be more comfortable with 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, 2 living areas, and a fabulous setting right on the river. Located at the end of the road, this oasis property has it all for your next family vacation! The owners have gone out of their way to provide a true Colorado retreat.



    Upon entering through the family room, you immediately get the sense that relaxation won't be a problem on this trip! With a large flat panel television, seating for the whole family, views out to the river, a game table and shuffleboard, this room sets the tone for the whole home. There is a brand new full bath in this room for convenience or the dedicated use of one of the guest bedrooms down the hall.



    Leave the family room and you will find two bedrooms and another full bathroom. One guest bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has another queen bed and also a daybed/trundle combo.



    The end of the hall opens into the great room with new rock fireplace and inset flat panel TV. With vaulted ceilings and trophy mounts from a lifetime of hunting, this room is the definition of comfortable. The kitchen is open with a pass through to the great room so everyone is involved when the family gathers. Around the corner is the dining room with seating for 10 and a wall of picture windows which look out to the backyard and over the river.



    Upstairs you will find a third bedroom with queen sleigh bed and it`s own en-suite bath, along with, the master bedroom with king bed and huge master bath featuring dual vanities, jetted tub, and an oversized glass shower. This room has a multitude of windows which overlook the expansive backyard and the river.



    Outside you will find a large deck with seating, a gas grill, horseshoe pit and even a tree house cottage for the little ones to play in. So, take a seat in the brightly colored Adirondack chairs overlooking the river and let life slow down for a while at Diamond on the River!

We loved our stay at Diamond on the River. Beautiful setting and a great location for exploring Gunnison and Crested Butte. The house was very clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. A cozy fireplace and fun game room entertained all.

One of the most comfortable stays we have had in many years. The house was exactly as advertised, but better. We had 3 young children and 6 adults in the house, and we never felt cramped. The children loved the backyard swings and playhouse. All of the amenities were well stocked which is very much appreciated. Only thing we might have had an issue is we weren't able to fish in the Gunnison river due to property lines. But, we were able to find other fishing nearby.

Western Graduation 2025

Had different family members come out for graduation and the spreading out of bedrooms made the stay very comfortable. Property allowed for other Western grads/students to stop by and throw the football around or play corn hole (we brought our own set up). Able to throw a few fly casts as well as the river is right there - fish not interested in what I was sharing. Overall great out of the way spot for a family gathering.

PERFECT HOME ON RIVER!

This was a perfect home for our needs. Friends live down road! Great sleeping arrangements with 1 King and 4 queen beds. Nice areas to hang out, eat, play shuffleboard! Gorgeous riverfront lawn and view of river. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Already planning another trip next summer!

Scorching summer relief.

House clean and in good shape as expected. Diamond on the River is a bit of a misnomer as it’s on a little creek that empties into the Gunnison. Roomy, well decorated (western style). The hot water had a sulfur smell (bacteria in HW tank) that was corrected that day by maintenance man.

Great base camp for adventures

We used this property to base out UTV trip from. We rode Taylor Park, Alpine Loop, Crested Butte.. then came back and sat by the river. The property was everything we needed to be very comfortable.

Hidden gem!

Beautiful property on the river with spectacular views! Easy access to all the major tourist spots and only a few minutes from Gunnison. The house is well stocked for all of your needs with plenty of room for large groups. Definitely a do-over!
