Ocean House 1506 3 bd / 3 ba, Gulf-front condo!

Ocean House #1506 is a west corner gulf-front 3 bedroom 3 bath condominium located on the 5th floor in building I overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1300 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer. There are 3 full baths with either a tub/shower combo or stand-alone shower. The gulf-side master bathroom is accessed via the bedroom and hallway. The street-side master has an en suite bathroom with garden tub and shower and the middle bedroom has an attached bathroom with stand-up shower. King, Queen, Queen, Queen. No sofa sleeper. Sleeps 8

Ocean House I and II are 9 story buildings with 6 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Ocean House has a large seasonal zero-entry outdoor pool and small kiddie pool. The property also has a grilling area that services both buildings I and II. Minimum age required: 23

Parking passes are purchased on-site at Ocean House at guard house or office located in building I - CASH ONLY. There is a maximum of 2 parking passes per unit and cost is set by the association and is subject to change at any time without notice.

STAY AND PLAY

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including; golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Arrived on Wednesday afternoon to find the elevator out of order - after 5 trips up 5 flights of stairs to get our belongings into the condo everything else was perfect! The view was amazing, the layout of the condo was perfect for our family. The pool was so nice. The grounds were very clean and taken care of. The condo location is excellent for all the local restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay - will definitely return and we highly recommend!!

Ocean House 1506 was great for our vacation. We went in late September, so it wasn’t too crowded. The condo was nice & looked recently renovated. It was pretty clean. It’s not a big building, so no waiting for the elevator. Walkway to the beach was great because there are no stairs to lug your beach cart up & down. It’s also a very short walk across the sand to where we set our chairs. The management responded quickly to my questions when booking & maintenance responded quickly to a small issue I had. I would gladly stay there again.

Property was just as described. Infinity pool was awesome for little ones. Super close to beach a plus. Need more parking on site, however we used the off site parking also. Had maintenance issues and fixed within 1 hour. Will definitely stay at Ocean House again.

Overall the property was very clean and well kept. We had no issues with anything. The rooms were nice. Access to beach was nice. Overall we all had a great time! Would definitely come back.

Our family had an awesome time at Ocean House 1506. The condo was nice and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The beach was beautiful and right out the gate of the pool. We had a very nice and relaxing week.

Only complaint is the unit could use a deep clean and a little TLC. Great view and proximity to shopping and restaurants. Can’t beat the beach access!

This is a great location, really close to everything. The condo was spacious and easy to find. The beach access was perfect for my aging family members with poor knees. Loved having a bathroom for each bedroom as well.

Condo unit was nice and well maintained inside. Exterior of the building needs some work. One of the security guards was very rude to some of the guests visiting the pool area. The views from the 5th floor were perfect. We enjoyed our stay in Gulf Shores

We loved our stay at the ocean house! The pool/outdoor amenities were fantastic and the direct beach access is an absolute game changer! We had plenty of space inside for 2 couples and my sisters small family if 4 (herself, her husband and their 2, two year olds!)

Overall, we had a great week. The place is exactly as described. A few housekeeping issues were: broken towel rack in one bath, refrigerator had missing shelves and a broken piece, and the unit didn't actually lock. If you pulled all the way closed, you could still get back in without a code. On our last day, the bathrooms were closed by the pool and the kiddie pool was closed all week. So those things should be addressed. But other than that, it was great.

We loved stying at Ocean House 1. My unit was nicely renovated. We loved how close we were to the beach. There is no wait at the elevator. My only complaint is the parking situation. We came with 9 people and brought brought 3 cars. We were only allowed to park 2 cars in the lot and were forced to park one on the side of the road down the atreet. We felt that was unsafe. Otherwise, good trip!
