Gulf front home with pool on the beach & pet friendly

Gorgeous 6 bedroom/6 bath gulf front duplex on West Beach Blvd. This property is beautifully furnished and the kitchen is well-equipped. Enjoy coffee on one of the three covered porches overlooking the gulf. If the surf is too rough you can go for a swim in the pool. This home can sleep up to 20 people. Sunset has two master suites overlooking the gulf. One master suite occupies the entire third floor and has a garden tub with a separate shower. The other master faces the gulf on the 2nd floor. Each master suite has a king bed. There is also a king room on the first floor. One bedroom on 2nd floor is set up for the kids and has two bunks (double over double). There are a total of 3 king size beds, 2 queen beds, 4 double beds, and a sleeper sofa. There is a large laundry room with a new full size washer and dryer. Covered parking is available and a charcoal grill is located under the house by the pool deck. The location of his home is perfect, just 2 miles from Hwy. 59 and minutes away from great shopping and restaurants.

The Porters were such gracious hosts and their beach house offered the perfect floor plan for our family group of 13! The furnishings were beautiful and reflected a beach home. We all enjoyed the pool and access to the beach. We checked in and out with ease. The large ice machine was a bonus. If you are looking for a beach house to accommodate your larger family, this is the place for you!

This is really good location. Excellent for big families. Hosts are super responsive. I will say there alot of steep stairs to this unit so anyone with bad knees should take that into consideration. Take your own beach towel and the walkway to beach is private, sandy, and over a dune you will get a workout. Overall, amazing place to stay.

beautiful space and location!

We wish we could have stayed longer! This is a great house right on the beach -- very well appointed, clean, easy to navigate and again, right on the beach!! Missed having beach chairs available but we were able to rent a great set up from a business on the beach. We will definitely stay again!

The house host was extremely easy to contact and work out details with. The house itself was simple to check in and out of and was super clean and ready to go when our group rolled in. The pool was great hangout and the beach was amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. 10/10 would stay again

Family vacation

The house was as described and was beautifully located on the beach. The worst part about our stay was the inconsiderate neighbor next to us as this is a duplex home that is not owned by the same individuals so there is really little that can be done when there is an issue as the owners do not have any communication with the renters next door to you. I would recommend either staying in a single home or in a place that both duplexes are owned and managed by the same individual/company

Beach Getaway At It's Finest!!

Spacious, clean, comfortable. Property is directly on the beach with walkout access just past the fenced pool. Beautiful views of the beach and water from all three balconies. Fully stocked kitchen. More than enough space for everyone in our church group of 17 that included ages 5-62. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. Having six bathrooms was great! Can't wait to stay at this amazing place again!

Wonderful Stay!

The house itself is in a great location, is well kept, and had a great layout. We were able to comfortably sleep 11 kids and 5 adults! The only thing better than the house is the host. She responded to my messages throughout the weekend very quickly and was both kind and hospitable. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Our first whole family vacation. It was perfect. House is perfect for our family. Six bedrooms with attached bathrooms, kitchen and living area were ample size. We had 16 in our group, babies to old folks, could have easily slept several more with bunks and couches. Each bedroom had tv and kitchen was well equipped. Kate was easy to work with. Pool was such a plus too. Beach is so close. We were able to park 5/6 cars with no problem. Would stay here again!

September Stay

We found this place to be exactly as expected. Kate was very gracious and responsive with any questions that we had need to ask. This place could not have been more accommodating! The stairs will give you a workout though. It was very clean. We were fortunate in that noone occupied the other side of the duplex so that we had the pool all to ourselves. Would not hesitate to recommend this to any large group. Will definitely come back!

The house was beautiful, located in a perfect spot. Easy access to everything gulf shores has to offer. The host was friendly and very easy to communicate with throughout our stay. My family and I will definitely be going back to this perfect beach home.

We had a great stay! We only had a few minor problems but nothing worth complaining about. The place was very spacious for party of 14. Pool is a little small but then again we were there for the ocean! Would definitely stay here again.

Nice getaway

We booked this house last minute and Kate was great to communicate with. House is nice and quaint. A little dated and could use some updating and improvements but overall pleased with the stay. Very quiet and safe area. Would stay again!
