In a prime location within walking distance of some of the most popular spots in Gulf Shores, Castaways 1B has everything you need for an unforgettable vacation. As soon as you enter, you’ll be drawn to the wall of glass showing off the beach views and allowing all that Alabama sunshine to stream in. Decorated in cheerful aqua and complimentary neutrals, the living room has all the beach vibes. Comfortable, plush furnishings fill the open space, and a large flatscreen TV invites relaxation after a day in the sun.

The fully equipped kitchen is light, bright, and open to the living and dining areas. You’ll love being a part of the action as you prep meals (or open takeout containers), and the family can keep you company at the breakfast bar, where there is seating for two. There is also a four-person dining table just steps away.

With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two sleeper sofas, this home has the perfect setup for families of up to ten. The super spacious primary suite is ultra-inviting with a comfy King bed, flatscreen TV, Queen sleeper sofa, endless Gulf views, and direct balcony access. The guest bedroom has a Queen bed and a twin bunk bed, the perfect family suite or kids’ room. With two full bathrooms and a washer/dryer, beach living has never been easier.

And speaking of beach living, the Gulf-front private balcony is your little slice of paradise. Enjoy your morning coffee, al fresco dining, and spectacular views of the pool, sugar-white sand, and sparkling Gulf. It doesn’t get much better than this.

Great location

We stayed here for the Sand in my Boots Festival and it was perfect for walking distance in and out. We were able to spend the day in the pool or walk a couple more steps right into the beach. The beach layout was nice and the sand was perfect. The only suggestion we have is to bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, garbage sacks, and beach towels. They had one roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, one garbage sack, and 0 beach towels. We had 9 of us there for 6 days and it made it really difficult to clean anything up. We also ended up buying a couple beach towels so we didn’t have to drip dry before heading back up to the condo. We did a big grocery run the first day there but didn’t realize that stuff wasn’t supplied so we had to do a Walmart order to clean/throw things away the rest of the week.overall knowing all of that should make for a good trip!

Excellent Stay!

Nothing but great things to say about this condo and the property management. They were very nice, helpful and accommodating. Both the check-in and check-out processes were as simple as could be. The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything needed for the stay. I was in town for the Parrotheads in Paradise event, which was centered at The Hangout. Could not beat the location of this condo as I only had about a 5 minute walk every day to get there. Lots of good restaurants closeby also. Overall great experience.

Great family trip

Great views, room was very nice, well stocked with necessary kitchen items to cook any meal. Outside needs major help! When we first got to our room door we were very scared of what we would find inside the door due to the lack of up keep on the outside, the paint was peeling on rails, the doors are old and need new ones, just the whole appearance of the outside needs help, but when we opened the door it was surprisingly clean and nice furnishings, plenty of room for a family of nine. Building just needs some TLC and pool could use some updating like new pool furniture and paint. We really enjoyed our visit and stay at Castaways!
