BEACH ACCESS
Casa Playa is located on the north side of West Beach Boulevard, directly across the street from the beach and you can see the beach! You have beach access at the 12th (3 mins, < .1 mile!) and 13th street public beaches, PLUS a large pool private to just the guests of Casa Playa. We aren't talking about blocks to reach the beach, it's right across the street, .1 miles to the west!
POOL? You bet!
BIG outdoor pool (shared only between the two sides). 30x18x3-5' rectangular bit of bliss!
PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 6 cars per side. More if you park under then home and stack carefully. Just share nice with the neighbors!
WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.
No smoking please. No pets.

Perfect house for large party
We had 10 adults stay this weekend and there was plenty of space for everyone. The two refrigerators were awesome, the pool was clean and refreshing and the location could not have been better. Thanks so much!!

Nice home with lots of space
We travel with my brother and his wife. Sometimes my sister and her husband also join us for a week or so. The house was very roomy. We like to golf, play Pickleball and ride our ebikes. We saw a couple of great shows and enjoyed the relatively close proximity to everything we wanted to do. Check in was simple as well as check out. Great location

Casa Playa East
The home was exactly what we needed for our family. Wish it were closer to the public beach access area. The kitchen could use a pantry. When you are staying with a large family, groceries have to go somewhere and there was no space to store and organize groceries. The mattresses on the main floor and 2nd floor need replacing, but we managed. Overall, kudos to this lovely home. With these few adjustments, I recommend this vacation home to any family looking for a place at Gulf Shores.

Nice, Neat, Great Location, excellent customer service!
We were a group of 22 people/ five families. We had plenty room and lots of fun. Beach access was just a few hundred feet away. Sea view from all levels. Quiet and vibrant community. Our support contact reached out to us before we reached and was always responding to any and all questions. We had a great vacation and hope to come back sometime!

Close the to Beach!!!!
We rented both sides of the house for our big group. It was nice having two kitchens & dinning areas to cook & eat at. It was really nice that every room had their own bathroom for such a large group.
Everyone really enjoyed staying here. It was close to the beach, lots of room, peaceful, quite place. We were at the beach everyday even for the time of year we were down there. Thanks for having such wonderful accommodations for us to stay at.

Large home for families or large groups, close to the beach
The home was within a 3 minute walk to the beach. It is very large for families/friends wanting to stay together in the same home. The pool is not heated. It did not mention it in the listing , so I knew in advance. We went in mid-October and the pool was too cold for most us to enjoy. The kids got in it a few times. The beds were a lot harder than I prefer, but that wouldn’t stop us from staying again at the home. We had a problem with the A/C on the second level and it was fixed that day. I highly recommend you add this home to your list of possibilities!

Awesome location! Rooms are huge and EVERY ROOM HAS ITS OWN BATHROOM!
This place was great! It accommodated a lot of people very easily. Huge bedrooms all with their own bathrooms! We would definitely stay here again.

The perfect place for a family reunion!
The check-in was easy! Lots of beds! We really appreciated the extra refrigerator and washer/dryer. The kids loved the pool and the house was near the beach. The management company answered any questions promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Playa! We’d love to come back in the future. If you want a house with lots of room and amenities… check out Casa Playa. We LOVED it! ❤️

Large Place Close to the Beach
Was a great place for a large group to stay. There's plenty of beds for everyone to sleep in and the private pool in the back is well maintained. It was nice that there were two fridges, and we were a close walk to the beach. Check-in and out is super easy!

great vacation home
house was set-up great for a big group, nice set-up close to the beach. Beds were comfortable and each bedroom had its own private bathroom which was nice for groups of different families.

wonderful area and location
Love the house! It's a half double with shared parking and pool area. It might be wise to mention the amount of stairs you have to climb to get to the 3rd floor. These are not complaints, this house is awesome.

Awesome vacation
Shared the property with two other families (18 in total) and it was awesome. The property was big enough that we had our privacy but still felt homey. Proximity to everything was amazing. Would definitely love to stay again.

The property was exactly as described. Right across from the ocean. We throughly had a great time. We enjoyed the pool. We brought our own grill. We had a great time with our neighbors. Exactly what we were looking for. My only criticisms are that the house could benefit from some really good cleaning. There were what looked to be food stains on the walls and lots of dust. However this did not deter from anything we had going on. Would definitely stay here again and the owners were excellent with communication. Thank you❤

Even with Ida we had a great time.
Loved the separation of rooms. With the age differences the ones that wanted to go to be early could while the others hanged out. Lights on lower balcony didn’t work. No big deal for us but someone else might want lights. A couple chairs was rusted or cracked on decks. But overall absolutely perfect for our family. We will stay here again. Possibly bring larger group with more family.
