Family Thanksgiving

We gathered the whole immediate family together to celebrate how thankful we are for each other. We enjoyed early morning walks on the beach and the kids playing in the sand. Also enjoyed the beautiful sunsets on the beach, playing Frisbee, soccer and football. The younger ones played games and watched their favorite TV shows. A few braved going into the pool. Lots of fun!

Beach Bum fun

Our family had a great time. House was as good as advertised. The pool was great as was the beach access. The walk was about 10 minutes but we shuttled some of the little ones and the older. There was parking right across from the beach for $15 all day.

Great space for a large family

Brought our 18 mo granddaughter and 9 others for a week long trip and had plenty of Space for everyone. Kept the door open between both sides which provided privacy for our teens and adults but also space for us a to be together and hang out. There is a walk to the beach which was difficult for one of our guests with a disability and there are steps to get into the unit which was challenging for pool days for this guest but there are railings which helped. The unit isn’t new and the kitchen while stocked with supplies was a little disorganized but those were small things compared to the fun we had there. We drove to the beach parking lot every day to do Drop offs in lieu of walking and I would suggest bringing your own rolling cart as the one provided was tough to get on and off the beach. There are lots of beach supplies there and the pool was great and was cleaned and cared for while we were there as well. The showers by the pool are a great feature for hosing off after the beach. We had a few issues that needed maintenance support and the property managers responded quickly and resolved the issues with professionalism. We had a great stay and felt this was well worth the price. We also appreciated the space available for parking and the neighborhood is quiet and while still in the heart of things, felt secluded. Our stay was great!

Nice Property

Nice property, the beach was unfortunately closed during our whole stay due to dangerous surf conditions, but we were able to enjoy the pool and outdoor area at the house. The house is divided into 2 duplexes but there is a door inside that connects them together when you rent the whole place. One downside is the walk to the beach might be a bit long for smaller children especially after getting tired playing in the sand all day. The house was clean and we had no issues with our stay. The property management was quick to respond with any questions we had.

Enjoyable stay in Gulf Shores

This was our fourth time visiting Gulf Shores but our first time with our dog. This property fit our needs perfectly. There property had plenty of space for our large family and was in a great location. Just a short walk and we were on the beach. The surrounding neighborhood was pleasant and had a nice walking/biking path. The property itself was clean and when a couple minor issues arose the communication was prompt. It was another enjoyable family vacation in the books.

Family of 16-packed more than we needed!

Just left after a week at the Beach Bum property. First time there. Used both sides for family of sixteen with several married children and 5 grandkids. Was just as described. Great stocked kitchens setup to feed the masses. Used one side to cook each night and one to serve dinner. Convenience to beach with our truck shuttling us and gear back and forth and free parking within a block of drop off. Walkable to beach. Beds comfy and plenty of space. 6 bathrooms more than enough! Management extremely responsive. Thought fridge wasn’t working but just had stocked it so full the first day! Never ran out of hot water. Pool was the best with 100+ heat index. Tons of beach and pool toys, 3 beach carts and some chairs to use! We used every aspect of the place to the max. Showers under decks off pool area perfect for rinsing off. Thanks for making our 5 years in waiting family vacation one to remember. Truely blessed by your property.

we had a great stay. we had a full house from infant, todlers,young kid,adult kids, grand kids, grand parents and great grand parents and still had extra beds! everything was clean . the pool was the best! and the 4 minute walk to beach was perfect! Thank you for having us!

Just a hop and a skip from the beach

Unfortunately, we weren't able to utilize all the amenities of the condo thanks to the weather, but what we were able to use was well kept if a bit aged. We did have a couple of problems, but management was on it quickly so we had a comfortable stay. Also, if you're handicapped or have difficulty with stairs, this is NOT the place to rent. Steep steps everywhere.

Perfect place for our family vacation!

The place was large enough to accommodate our entire family of 14. The pool was so nice. We loved the patio area underneath the steps. Picnic tables for us all to eat on together. Also, cornhole, and the hook game was such a big hit with all of us. The kitchen was so well stocked. Lots of extra towels for us to use. Two laundry rooms was perfect. We had the best time. It was so close to the beach even with little children. We thought we’d have to drive but, it was .3 of a mile! We really loved this place and would definitely go back!

Family Vay cay.

So hard to find a 6 bedroom pet friendly place. Be ware that the pool might be cleaned while you are all enjoying it and the washer might flood the first floor. Oh and the owners watch you on their camera all the time!! Have fun. Great place!!

Family Fun

The Beach Bum was the perfect location for our family vacation! We took 3 families, grandparents and the family dogs and we had enough room for everyone! We loved that the house could be divided - the kids could watch tv and hang out on one side while the adults had space on the other side. The house was very clean and had many necessities so that our large party could cook our meals right at the house. We loved that the pool had a grassy fenced in area as well as a “pet clean up” station - this allowed our dogs to be off leash and have more freedom. We will definitely be visiting again - thank you for being super accommodating and quick with all of your correspondence!

Awesome 60th Anniversary and Memorial Day weekend!

House was perfect for our group. Being above to cross back and forth between each place was great. Still gave some separation while still being together. Pool and underneath area were great for the entire group to visit together and enjoy the wonderful weather. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic location, great property and super clean

Our family, my parents and family pets stayed for a week. The pool in the yard was great and the beach is a short walk down the street. There are outdoor showers to rinse off and lots of pool and beach toys for the kids in the sheds. The house is great because the duplex is connected and allows for privacy and quiet time if some of the group goes off to bed early. The balconies are wonderful for coffee in the morning and dinner outside in the evening. Absolutely easy process and perfect accommodations and would recommend to any family!

Beach Bum House, didn't disappointed us.

The unit was spacious and clean. It's was enough room for a family of 12 between the ages on 7yrs to 70. The description of the unit was precise. The mattress were very comfortable in every bedrooms. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The area was very close to the beach, lots of restaurants and shopping places. There was a minor issue with the TV's in one of the master bedroom, but maintenance team was on point, took care of the problem immediately. We will love to come back again.

Loved this place!

My family and I went here for a vacation, we absolutely loved the property. I was thinking it was closer to the beach than what it really was. It’s about a 5-6 minute walk, not too bad but I thought it would be a little closer. We will Absolutely be staying here next time. I loved the fenced in yard and pool. So awesome that it is pet friendly! This is definitely Our vacation spot! Thank you for having us
