"I read a number of the negative reviews (after I had booked) and arrived at the hotel with anticipation of being disappointed. I am glad to say we had a lovely stay. "We did not stay at Lenscape coterie as it was undergoing renovations and therefore not open. We were relocated to another hotel in the group Torel Saboaria where we had a wonderful room. The breakfast was superb we had lunch and dinner which were equally as good as breakfast. We cannot thank all the staff enough as everyone was so kind, helpful and attentive even to the point of providing gluten free pancakes at breakfast."

"Vincci Ponte de Ferro is a very nice property. It is located on the banks of the Douro River, next to the main pedestrian/Metro bridge, the Jardim de Morro park and sky ride down to the river. The sky ride and funicular are nice options if you do not want to make the hikes up the hill to the hotel. Our room was nice and very clean. "A fabulous hotel in the perfect location. The staff were friendly and helpful and check-in was quick and easy. My room was spacious and spotless, with a balcony overlooking the square. Although there was a market outside I didn’t hear any noise from inside my room. Shops and local attractions were in walking distance. Would definitely recommend."

"Altis Porto Hotel was the most incredible stay! The staff were amazing, so helpful, kind, courteous, friendly. Daniela helped me so much with suggestions around the city, and booked a dinner reservation for me at a traditional Portuguese restaurant. The amenities were unreal with a Turkish bath, like a steam room, the sauna, indoor pool, hot tub, and rooftop pool and bar. I loved staying here. It was also a great stay for a single traveler. "Het is een heerlijk hotel, goed gelegen, heel behulpzaam personeel, uitstekend ontbijt. Het enige minpunt is het lawaai buiten op het terras en bij het zwembad. Er is vlak naast het hotel een soort centrale (energie?) die veel lawaai maakt. Ook het verkeer buiten hoor je hard."
