Welcome to the Lambertson Cabin — a beloved off-grid log cabin nestled along the serene north shore of Lower Wilson Pond 🌊. Just 5 miles from downtown Greenville and Moosehead Lake, this peaceful, private hideaway is one of only three cabins on Lambertson Road. You'll enjoy unmatched tranquility, starry skies ✨, and the haunting call of loons echoing over the water 🐦.

You’ll have full access to the cabin, the deck, and the lakeshore. Your only neighbors are Mike and Lynne next door, along with their two friendly dogs 🐕🦺 Lily and Brit, who may stop by to say hello. Please observe quiet hours after 10 PM so everyone, including the dogs, can rest 😴.

💡 Lighting: All lights are propane. Please be careful with the mantles — they’re delicate and costly to replace.
🧼 Linens: Fresh sheets and towels are provided.
🚫 Water: Lake-fed and not drinkable — bring bottled water 💧.
🔧 Water system & hot water: Should be running when you arrive. See the spiral-bound manual in the cabin for easy, illustrated instructions.
🔌 No electricity = no outlets. Bring battery-powered chargers or lights if needed.

🐭 Mice Activity: Mice may be present year-round due to the surrounding wilderness, with increased activity during the cooler months (fall and winter) as they seek warmth indoors. We use natural and sterile methods to treat the cabin, but occasional sightings or signs of mice may still occur.
❄️ Ice & Snow: Icy conditions are common in colder months. We do our best to salt and shovel walkways, but some ice may remain. Please use caution when walking outside during these times.
🕸️ Spiders & Webs: In this remote wooded setting, spiders are prevalent. We clear webs before each guest’s arrival, especially around the exterior, but they often rebuild quickly due to the natural environment.
