Welcome to Benson Lake, a hidden gem in the Pacific Northwest where this waterfront home boasts of towering trees and still waters. Enjoy a private dock where you can sip your coffee at sunrise, take afternoon swims, and enjoy the spectacular views while kayaking around the lake.

Outdoor enthusiasts will feel right at home with endless activities nearby. Located near Hood Canal, explore Twanoh State Park, Theler Wetland trails in Belfair or stroll through the charming waterfront town of Allyn. Grab a coffee and a sweet treat from Peace, Love and Donuts or enjoy fish and chips at the Boathouse Restaurant, both with a stunning view of Case Inlet.

Whether your plans involve hiking, kayaking, or exploring Hood Canal and the greater Olympic Peninsula, you'll begin and end each day in the gorgeous outdoor spaces. Watch bald eagles soar overhead from the wraparound porch and gather each evening for s'mores around the firepit or a relaxing soak in the lakefront hot tub.

The interior showcases the waterfront scene as well, with large picturesque windows and glass deck doors that let in the summer breeze. When winter settles in, enjoy the charm of this rustic cabin- build a fire in the woodstove and curl up with a good book or a cup of hot tea.
Enjoy preparing a meal with your loved ones and gathering in the lakeview dining room. After dinner, unwind with a fun board game or your favorite show-every room features a smart TV with streaming capabilities.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Dock details: There is a private dock on the property, accessed via a flight of exterior stairs.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

This was an amazing trip. Plenty of kayaks for 6 people, the lake was stunning and peaceful and so fun to kayak around on. The house was also great! I would have been much nicer if the pullout had a topper guest could add for comfort because it’s a bit hard but overall doable. And HUGE! 3 adults could sleep on it easily. We had a really great time. I’d def come back here again.

Great Lake Cabin. Pretty accurately advertised, burn ban was in effect, so no fire pit. It's a great combo of modern and rustic. You gotta take advantage of the morning sun bc this side of the lake is in the shade after 3p. But that also keeps this spot pretty cool. Great views, great decks, dock, water toys. Would def recommend.

House is located right on the bank of the Benson lake with a pier. Property has 2 bedrooms with comfortable new mattresses and 2 couches in the living room that can turn into a full size beds. Views are amazing, No motor boats are allowed on the lake so its very quiet and serene.

Great place….good house/cabin. Clean, quiet, functional. The only issue is when I communicated through the Vacasa app. It never seemed to go to the host. At least I never got an answer from her. So I tried to contact her through the book that was left at the cabin, but her voicemail was full. Thank goodness she gave a back up for us to contact because we had a few issues that needed to be resolved. Once we made contact with the back up, she was fantastic and resolved all our issues.

Amazing stay by the water

My family loved the property. Perfect weekend getaway from Seattle. Serene lake, cozy hot tub, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating from your own private dock or just swim in the water. We had activities for all ages. You couldn't have asked for a much better stay for a hot summer weekend

Relaxing as needed

My teenager and I enjoyed two nights relaxing at this cozy home on the water. View was incredible, we watched movies on the comfy couch when it rained and kayaked all over the lake when the sun was out. Enjoyed the hot tub as well. House had everything we needed to prepare a few easy meals. It was exactly the mini-vacation we needed after a few very very busy months.

Disappointed, not worth the value

The only good things about the stay were the views of the lake and the high speed internet. The house was shabby and should not be qualified to be a VRBO property. While the surfaces were clean upon arrival, every single appliance was dirty and had to be cleaned before use plus there was trash left behind bedside tables. We were especially disappointed because the property did not live up to what we paid which was overpriced for the shabbiness of the house. I would not recommend this place to be rented out by anyone.

Peaceful getaway

We love the quiet and peacefulness of the location as well as being able to get to great view very easily for eating out if we wanted. We walked around the lake every day as well as paddleboard and kayak every day. The guys fished and spent hours on the lake, it was very relaxing And peaceful as could be

Wonderful spot!

This was a wonderful location for a weekend getaway. We had lots of options for outdoor and water activities and we enjoyed the grill. It was the perfect size for our group and I would definitely book again!

Peaceful lake House

This was a great spot to get away for a while and enjoy some fun in the lake. The kids all had fun going in kayaks and paddle boats to explore the area, or just swimming around near the dock. The cabin itself was just right for my family of 5. Everyone got their own sleeping place, and there was enough room for people to spread out during downtime. My wife and I enjoyed kayaking, relaxing on the hot tub, and hanging out on the porch. This was a great find to stumble across, and somewhere we'd definitely book again.

Annual Girls Getaway

Beautiful home, beautiful location. Well stocked kitchen, nice deck with a lovely view of the lake. Had some issues with the TV, but it was quickly resolved. Very peaceful and quiet, just what we needed. Everyone had a lovely time.

Disappointing

Dishes still in dishwasher, coffee maker full of grounds and a dirty pot, the heat in here is a potential hazard with the thermostat hanging off the wall and does not turn or off right with no marker of where it's supposed to be. Someone put a clean bottom sheet on top of a dirty bottom sheet which I discovered while checking out today, that is disgusting... The outside area is horrible and not cleaned up or anything. The place looks like someone without building permits or a license did work on the house, has wall panels popping out in parts of the house.. I will not be a returning customer here ever.
