"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville."

"We were just a group of adults but I assume kids would well here. There is lovely patio/balcony off the living that was delightful although the mornings were a bit to crisp for coffee on the balcony but we ate lunches around the table. The house would accommodate a large number of guests. There are bedrooms off bedrooms which wouldn’t bother us. The kitchen was well equipped. Check in and check out was a breeze. We were there for a wedding and showed the place to friends looking for places...
