"We absolutely loved the grounds. Saw a ton of birds including parrots, a kingfisher, warblers, hummingbirds and toucans to name a couple highlights. The big issue we had was the room was attached to another and it had no sound proofing at all. So we could hear conversations, we could hear and feel every movement by our neighbor. The facility has a Belizian car you can rent which you'll need because the attractions are not too close. The place is nicely tucked away off the main road going into town."

"Calico Jacks is a bit outside San Ignacio so you definitely need a vehicle but the room was really cleaned and comfortable. I stayed for only one night so I haven’t used the pool or tried the zipline but the food at the restaurant onsite and the staff were amazing. Julio was my server and my guide the morning after to visit Barton Creek’s caves and he made sure I had a wonderful time."

"Maybe spend a few minutes at check-in to give the guest all the info they need. After signing the reservation form, I was given a key and my room was pointed out me. No other info was given. Front Desk agent was in a hurry to leave the building. No WiFi info, location of resort amenities, or other property info was shared. We walked around to find the pool and discovered it was dirty with a bunch leaves and other debris. I learned about the walking trails after my departure from someone else....
