  • Las habitaciones gloriosas de este 100 años de antigüedad mansión están decoradas con muebles de calidad del siglo 19 americanos y accesorios decorativos de la de todo el mundo. Compra en el primer piso de este 1914 propiedad histórica llena de antigüedades extraordinarias, navidad y regalos antes de retirarse a sus espacios privados con decoración y mobiliario totalmente en antigüedades de la época. Revive el ánimo en una bañera humeante de sales curativas y disfrutar antes de caer en lujosa ropa de cama en las inmensas camas antiguas de los pisos segundo y tercero.

    La nueva sala orleans es un espacio de lujo con un baño privado con una ducha de mármol con azulejos de gran tamaño y una magnífica cama de matrimonio de madera de caoba. La cama, una obra maestra de la fabricación de muebles americanos, fue creado en el 1850 para el nuevo mercado orleans y está firmado por su autor, Charles Lee. El colchón sueño tejedor fue especialmente hecho para adaptarse a las proporciones de tamaño más-reina.

    Junto a la nueva sala de orleans, la sala de terraza es una habitación enorme con una plantación de hecho la cama-tester completo y una cama bala de cañón, tanto desde la década de 1840. El probador completa, de traqueteo y encaje procedencia de plantaciones, lo retiene bellamente restaurado dosel de seda.

    La sala de plantación es una amplia habitación con una cama medio-tester de seda drapeada románticamente de proporciones reina cerca. Acceso Al lado del baño principal, con el, bañera de gran tamaño original y iluminado por una araña de cristal hacen que la habitación plantación de uno de los favoritos entre los huéspedes.

    El tercer apartamento tipo loft piso es un hermoso espacio abierto con una cocina de estudio y baño completo. El loft cuenta con un espacio de comedor, oficina y la lectura, y tiene capacidad para cuatro. Es un espacio confortable, con unas vistas impresionantes de la ciudad.

    Toda la casa está equipada con conexión inalámbrica a Internet. Televisión por cable se ofrece en las habitaciones y en la sala de desayuno en el centro de la segunda planta. Un nuevo diseño ingenioso del armario de la ropa original, ahora oculta un desayuno y bar de vinos, con cafetera, microondas, nevera y televisión de pantalla plana.

    La cómodos asientos de los amplios porches y patios son los lugares perfectos para relajarse y ver el mundo pasar.

Beautiful, comfortable home close to everything!

Clean, comfortable accommodations, surrounded by beautiful pieces of history, provided for an amazing stay in Gonzales. The hosts are lovely, helpful ladies and the home is walking distance from shopping and restaurants. Look forward to staying again soon.

What a unique and wonderful stay. This home is so special with antiques in every room. Very comfortable and great location. You will enjoy this unique stay. Great communication and responsiveness.

Wow! .....Just.... Wow!

When you arrive at Laurel Ridge Inn, you do NOT feel like a visitor, but like a long lost friend, or relative, greeted warmly (but not effusively). Wrapped in the coziness of your arrival, you are escorted upstairs to your "home away" (truly!!) experience. Perhaps a home to which you are accustomed, or perhaps to home to which you aspire: Antique beds and exquisite accommodations. Barbara and her team treat you to a stay filled with attention to detail, and helpful information about the area. Whether you are visiting Gonzales for business or for pleasure, be sure to list Laurel Ridge at the top of your "must stay" destinations.

Great place to experience small town Texas

Really cool historic house above an antique shop. The house was really spacious and great for facilitating my extended family, who had plenty of sleeping options. Rita, the property manager, was amazing. She gave us really good food recommendations as well as good company when we arrived.

Immaculate Quarters with Old World Delight

I have been a loyal customer/fan of Laurel Ridge for the last several years now as my business frequently brings me to Gonzales. My overall impression: Laurel Ridge, Barbara (its owner) and her staff have never failed to offer anything but a stellar, top notch experience. Small-town Texas hospitality (the best kind) mixes with old world charm in a way that makes you want to kick off you shoes, relax on the veranda and soak it all in. Laurel Ridge is its own little world away from the world. A place` where you can leave the hustle and bustle of modern life behind and sink back into a calm, stress free environment, where even time seems to run a little slower. Sumptuously decorated with high quality, period appropriate antiques and beds piled high with luxurious linens, you'll feel that you've traveled back to a world where quality and good taste mattered. High end soaps and bath essentials, along with thick, plush towels, adorn the tastefully updated bathrooms, which still retain their period charm while having all the modern conveniences. Whether you've come to Gonzales for the history, the horse shows, the antiques or just to get away the big city, you couldn't find a more charming place to stay. And make sure and spend some time chatting with your host, Barbara. She's a true world citizen (a Gonzales hometown girl by birth, she spent many of her adult years living in Paris and London before returning home to open Laurel Ridge) and never ceases to charm and delight. She and her staff are as much the reason I keep returning to Laurel Ridge as is the majestic, old, historic house itself. By far, the hardest thing you'll have to do once you get to Laurel Ridge is leave.

Great historic home, very accomodating staff.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely historic home. We were visiting our niece who lives in Gonzales and touring all the historic sites and museums. The owner was very hospitable and the staff at Laurel Ridge was great. We will stay here the next time we come to visit.
