Located just a few hundred yards from the Rogue River and the Pacific Ocean, this home is perfect for anyone who wants to get close to nature with water views. A full kitchen with loads of cupboards and counter space provides everything you’ll need to create a delicious home-cooked meal, and there’s a TV where you can watch a DVD in bed or from one of the comfy chairs.

WHAT’S NEARBY
Gold Beach is an absolutely gorgeous town with many activities to do day or night! Enjoy some fresh seafood or a craft brew at one of the local bars or restaurants, or participate in one of the many annual festivals. There are also several boutiques for one-of-a-kind shopping, a skatepark, and museums to brush up on some history lessons. Of course, the beach itself is a fantastic place to unwind for the day, take some surf lessons, or do some whale-watching!

This one-level studio can be rented separately or with Harbor View Cottage A.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect Beach Stay

My partner and I loved this beautiful place! The ocean view is absolutely gorgeous and the bedroom is separate from the kitchen which I have never seen before and I think it’s super cool! The bed is comfy, the kitchen has everything you need and the furniture is gorgeous!! I will be searching this place out next time I need to stay at gold beach!!!

No frills cottage

I loved that the cottage had a great view of the harbor and the ocean. The yard was a very nice bonus if you are traveling with a dog. The cottage itself is very "no thrills" living. The bed was comfortable but the carpets could use a good cleaning, and you could tell that this cottage has struggled numerous times with previous water damage as the floor was sunken in places/water damage had been painted over. There was also a small hole in the bathroom wall that was simply "plugged" with toilet paper. The shower had great water pressure but you could not adjust the shower head and the shower pan was chipping/dirty. You could tell they had washed the sheets/blankets but they need to consider using bleach, as there were some old make up stains left on the blanket/sheet. Also, if you are tall....this is probably not the place for you. The toilet is situated right in front of a wall. I am 5'7" and I fit sitting the "correct way" on the toilet but my knees were touching the wall. Even at 5'7" I found it more comfortable to sit sideways on it. Finally, I think it should be mentioned that even though this place is walking distance to the harbor/ocean, there is a VERY steep/windy driveway (and although it is not very long) we found ourselves driving to places because of the steep incline back to the home. A smaller car could make it but may be a little sketchy if it were to ever get some poor weather. No issues with entry to the home or other amenities. No guest book though.

Had a difficult time getting the lockbox open. Initial impression was cold and musty with poor looking carpets. Kind of scarey neighborhood. After we settled in we decided it was not so bad. Appreciate the fenced area for the dog. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. Still, we decided to forgot our second scheduled night

Gold Beach Cabin in Town

Excellent accomodation, clean, comfortable bed, great Internet, kitchen well supplied, great view. Will stay here again soon. Suggestion: toilet needs more room than current location provides. Can be resolved by rotating it 90 degrees in it's current position. Had to sit on it sideways as is.

Cute, Clean Cottage

Extremely well stocked kitchen. Amazingly quiet for being close to the harbor and highway. Super clean! Low ceiling and cramped toilet space were a minor issue for us, but if you are over 6' it might be an issue. Felt safe and secure. We'll be back!

Darling Cottage

This is a sweet little home with everything you need for a wonderful stay, deep sleep, kitchen and laundry along with a fenced yard for your pup. Regular coffee is not provided. There is also a pervasive odor of mold from the carpet that is of concern and woke me in the night. It was very difficult getting into the property. The code was not working as I struggled in the pouring rain. The Vacasa office finally answered the phone and gave me a different code which worked. I left the cottage very clean, all dishes put away, stripped the bed and put in a load of laundry. I accidentally left my expensive LL Bean coat and 2 dogs' leashes on the hat rack behind the door. As I was leaving the housekeeper was coming in and helped me put the key back, also difficult to do with a rusted lockbox. He could easily have told me I forgot my coat as I was there for a while arranging my suitcases, but he did not. I called Vacasa and notified them online. The Vacasa agent told me I had to pay $25 for them "to look" but most people just leave their belongings for the next guest. I've called and written several times and am being ignored. Maybe the housekeeper wanted my coat for his girlfriend. I want it back and said I'd pay for any expenses in returning it. I was promised a response in 24-48 hours but it's been 2 weeks and they are ignoring me. My coat has either been stolen or given away and I am very, very unhappy.

Week get away.

Property was nice. I would rip the carpet out thou and replace it with vinyl. When you walk in and see the carpet with all the stains makes the place look dirty.

Clean, the view of the harbor was nice, the bed was not real comfortable and bathroom configuration!

Email communication was fine, had no issue and it has been my experience renting online that as long as you don’t have issue all goes well, when you have issues seems like no one really cares to deal with it. I have had issues in the past.

Nice place but needs some work

So I know it’s a coastal home and all, but the place had a serious mildew/mold stench which actually made my asthma act up. I believe it was the carpet throughout the entire home. Had to keep the windows open the whole time and burn a candle. Second, the couch was disgusting. It was a white and blue couch that was stained with whatever you can think of. The pillow that was on the couch looked like it had fresh bbq sauce splattered all over it. Other than that it’s really not a bad place. My wife and I had a wonderful time watching the sunset from the front porch area. This place could be really nice with a little extra taking care of. Two things; new couch and rip out the carpet and you have a great little spot.

Delightful place, not fancy but I don’t need that, brought my own solar light string which worked great on fencing for evening ambiance. Amazing spot for fireworks viewing on 4th of July.

Words cannot describe how beautiful this place is!

Breathtaking view. Exactly as advertised and much more! Quiet serene tranquility. I needed a private, quiet place to take a break from my life and this was it. The cottage is beautiful and the amenities are awesome..for only a few dollars more than you'd pay for a motel room! I am definately and very eagerly coming back! My new home away from home. My dog loved the doggy cookies they provide..yes, there's a container of treats waiting for our furry friends too!. The sun sets directly across the front room window too. Can't ask for anything better! Very much worth every hard earned penny I paid.
