An exceptional stay awaits you and yours at this beautifully updated vacation home in a quiet, highly desirable East Gloucester neighborhood. The home's prime location situates you near many fantastic walking trails, great restaurants, and scenic coastal drives. You'll love being located steps from Rocky Neck, Good Harbor Beach, and Niles Beach, and a short driving distance to downtown, Manchester By the Sea, Rockport, and Essex.

Upon entering, you will take notice of the welcoming, open-concept layout complete with hardwood flooring throughout. The comfy living area invites you to spread out with your loved ones and rest after an exciting day exploring your surroundings. Stream your favorite movies and shows on the Roku smart TV, and when you get hungry, utilize the well-equipped kitchen to prepare mouthwatering culinary masterpieces for your group. In the kitchen, you will find all the essential appliances, including a Keurig coffee maker.

Upstairs, you'll find the equally comfortable bedrooms. Additional perks include a desk on the first floor, board games, and a washer/dryer on the second floor. For great comfort, there is an air-conditioner/heat unit on the main floor, as well as in each of the bedrooms.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great modern house in a beautiful neighborhood of Gloucester.The rooms and bathrooms were large and nice.Kitchen and living area had everything that we needed.The code to get in was too long and we couldn’t type it in at night without a flashlight.The house could use and iron and ironing board.

House is awesome - only reason i gave it 3 on check in was that the door locks didn’t work and it was confusing to get it…. Clean - Re-done - the Lobster is a great place to hang out and its close… Very nice place!!

This home was the perfect base for our short trip to Gloucester. It was well furnished, with comfy beds, nice laundry room, and a quiet neighborhood. A couple more towel hooks in the bathrooms and some more supplies in the kitchen would enhance the experience for future guests. We were happy with our stay!!

Would have loved to give this a 5-star rating but just a few things kept me from doing that … the beds were okay but one of the frames was loose and rattled and one of the slats in one of the twin beds fell out during the night. The shower in the family bath had VERY low water pressure. The upstairs could use a few area rugs in the bedrooms to absorb noise. The kitchen table and chairs were very wobbly. We kept hand tightening the screws because we were afraid the table was going to collapse. We could have used a snow shovel since it snowed several inches while we were there and had to use a broom to clear off the steps (not sure if they were supposed to provide snow removal). But there was so much we loved about this house! Everything is in new condition and tastefully decorated. The open floor plan was perfect for our family to gather. Tons of storage. Television channels, WiFi access were all excellent. Nice hot water in the sinks and shower. Extra blankets and pillows were appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.

Great spot for a North Shore vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It was very clean, nice space, easy to get into. We vacationed with our two sons, and the commuter rail into Boston was super easy and the local beaches are very kid-friendly. We didn’t consider the beaches to be walking distance with our kids, so we reserved parking in advance of the days we were planning to go to the beach. The house had nice amenities to get our stay started – hand soap, dish soap and dishwasher detergent, etc. Plenty of towels – both bath and beach towels, and there were two beach towels available for use during our stay. The neighborhood was very quiet, which was a big plus for us. Lots of great local restaurants nearby, and we really enjoyed getting coffee and breakfast sandwiches at Cape Ann Coffee, which was right down the road. I’d definitely stay here with our family again!

Wonderful place to stay

The house was beautiful and had a well stocked kitchen for those that like to cook. It was like having a home away from home. Lots of reataurants in the area and grocery store very close. Short drive to Boston or Salem. Beautiful area will definitely be back to explore more when the weather is nicer and can enjoy a whale watch.

Some shortcomings but a nice property.

The property is certainly in good shape having been recently renovated. First, getting into the property is a challenge, especially after dark. The only door that unlocks with the key code is the side door. The key code does not work on the front door...renter beware. Some finishing touches need to be completed to take it to the property description the listing offers. Little things like missing door/window treatments that are functional or just not there. No shades or privacy curtains on the doors. There are no towel hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels, clothing, etc. There are no bedside lamps for reading, only recessed lighting in the ceiling; it's all or nothing. The bedding is not the greatest as the beds are not high-end and somewhat uncomfortable. Even the children complained of sore backs. There are only limited utensils, and no oven mitts, in the kitchen making holiday cooking a challenge, but doable. I will say that communicating with the property manager is through the VRBO app and the company is out-of-state. If you have a pressing issue, you are for the most part, on your own. Overall, the property was in good shape and new. Just need to bring it to the next level of having everything you will need to be comfortable for your stay.

Great place to stay!

This home was a great place to stay while visiting the area! Only a short drive into Salem, Boston, Rockport, or other areas. The home was SPOTLESS and very nice inside. Everything we needed was there for us....but we didn't need much. If you plan on using the kitchen be prepared to bring everything you need. There are dishes and utensils but the little "extras" were missing. For example... there is a coffee maker but no coffee pods, creamers, sugars, etc... We had a few issues that prevent me from eating this a "5".... First off.... We arrived in the evening and went to the front door to gain entry. The check in instructions provided a code for access.....that doesn't work. After trying numerous times we called the VACASA help number and were told the code is for the side door, off the driveway. That's something that can easily be included in the checkin instructions that wasn't. The customer service agent even said there were notes in the system that it's a common problem...so fix it. The next issue is the heat/AC units. This is an older home that has been remodeled NICELY! There are split system AC units in the bedrooms and two downstairs. The problem is they can't operate at the same time. In the cold months, I imagine every one would like a little heat, not just one room. Overall, a great place to stay and a great value!

Great time in Gloucester

We got to stay in Gloucester in Beau's Beach House and it was really nice! Quiet neighborhood, beautiful house centrally located near so many fun things! It was a wonderful vacation.

Leaf Trip

Short few days to see the foliage. Gloucester is a quaint town, a lot to do. The house was as described. Clean, with nice appliances and furniture, with adequate space in the bedrooms. The down stairs is open floor plan, and very comfortable. Parking was on the side of the house. We enjoyed everything about this place and our stay.
