This was one of the worst hotel check-in experiences I have ever had. We arrived as a family for our vacation. Our daughter legally lives in Italy and had her valid residence permit with her, along with a clear digital copy of her current passport. The rest of our family had our physical passports. Despite this, the receptionist refused to let us check in, insisting that our daughter had to present the physical passport, without making any effort to find a reasonable solution. It was 1:00 a.m., and we were forced to stand at the reception desk for hours. Instead of helping guests, the receptionist acted like a bureaucrat, repeating the same sentence over and over without any empathy or willingness to assist. After hours of unnecessary arguments, they finally accepted having the passport sent by email—the exact solution that could have been used from the very beginning. If sending the passport by email was ultimately acceptable, why were we humiliated and kept waiting for hours in the middle of the night? This completely ruined the start of our family holiday. The receptionist’s attitude was unprofessional, inflexible, and completely lacking in customer service. Staff in a hospitality business should know how to solve problems, not create them. The hotel itself is also overrated. In my opinion, it deserves no more than a 3-star rating, and the level of service is even lower. I will never stay here again, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Die Betten im Zimmer sind wie im Krankenhaus aufgereiht, obwohl die Räumlichkeiten eigentlich schön wären. Reception hat mir beim Checkout nicht selbstständig meine ID zurückgegeben, hätte ich nicht daran gedacht, ich wäre ohne weitergefahren. Laden des Autos wurde nicht gestattet, obwohl gleich eine Steckdose daneben verfügbar war und ich auch die Kosten übernommen hätte. Frühstück ziemlich basic, alle Konfitüren waren leer, aber zumindest der Kaffee war gut.
