"We stayed at the Shelby Inn overnight Easter Sunday night, after a day of fishing at the lake spillway. The Inn looks to be a mansion in pictures, but it is also what might have been an upgraded 1950s single floor motor lodge, as well as a two story lodging building next door. Our king room was in the 2 story building, on the top floor. On the day of our arrival, we got the assigned room number and an access code for the door. "For someone who likes comfort and is used to a newer place, it’s not worth it. I would call it bed and breakfast (not sure about quality of breakfast though because for us it was a quick in and out, so we didn’t have time to check on it.) The room we stayed overnight was outdated and definitely needs a lot of renovation. The only positive thing was it’s right off the interstate road (probably is good for drivers.) It was first and last time we stayed there."
