  • Villa Djebel Musa es una villa romántica, colorida, bellamente mantenida, diseñada por un arquitecto con una piscina de borde infinito. El jardín es una mezcla de palmeras exóticas maduras entre rocas y arbustos, así como acebuches y algarrobos llenos de pájaros cantores en la ladera de una colina en el extremo sur de la bonita "pueblo blanco" de Gaucín..

    "La mejor vista que hemos visto en España", dijo una compañía de viajes. "Una propiedad realmente impresionante con 'factor sorpresa'!" Gaucin está a 600 metros de altitud y la villa y la piscina ofrecen espectaculares vistas abiertas por el valle del río Genal hasta el Mediterráneo y el norte de África. Se mantiene y equipa a un alto nivel.

    La sala de estar es de planta abierta y de doble altura con una galería que está al lado de una gran terraza cubierta. Un arco conduce al gran comedor que conduce a su propia terraza comedor cubierta. Las habitaciones cuentan con ventanas francesas con acceso a su propia terraza o balcón. Las habitaciones 5 y 6 están ubicadas como un apartamento estudio que es usado de manera separada fuera de la temporada de verano.

    Hay otras terrazas alrededor del jardín. Encontrará suelos de terracota, alfombras brillantes, Hay vasijas marroquíes áreas de estar bien amuebladas adentro y afuera, televisión por satélite Internet inalámbrico, flores, vistas, las aves, ¡y sol!

    Algunas notas adicionales:
    - Tenemos un jardinero maravilloso, un eficiente limpiador de la piscina, un encantador, alegre y servicial administrador de la casa, y dos encantadoras muchachas encargadas de la limpieza.
    - El estacionamiento es relativamente sencillo ya que nos encontramos en las afueras del pueblo.
    - Hay una nueva televisión de pantalla plana con conexión a Internet.
    - El centro del pueblo está a solo unos cuantos minutos a pie del bar de tapas, restaurantes y tiendas.
    - Los niños son bienvenidos, pero los padres deben considerar que hay escaleras que descienden a la alberca y caídas pronunciadas debajo para que los niños pequeños necesiten supervisión constante.

Fantastic location, beautiful house and super-helpful owners. The views are amazing and the accommodation is fully equipped. The kitchen had ample crockery, cutlery, utensils etc. Within easy walking distance of lovely bars and restaurants. A great stay!

Everything about this stay was ideal! We stayed for 2 weeks and could've stayed forever. The house was beautifully decorated with an incredible view! We cooked quite a bit and the kitchen worked out pretty well for us. The owners could not have been more helpful before hand. They gave us extensive information about the area that was extremely useful. We hope to return!

Breathtaking views and pure escapism at Villa Djebel Musa

Villa Djebel Musa is a wonderful property and Mark could not have been more helpful with information about the property and Gaucin, prior to and during our stay. We would highly recommend this wonderful villa which offers total escapism and breathtaking views! A wonderful 5* stay.

Lovely villa in beautiful area

We had a great week staying at the villa. The views are amazing and we had everything we needed for our holiday. I'd advise any guests with a large car to avoid driving through the village - you can park near the bus stop on the main road and it's less than a 10 min walk.

Amazing location and super house.

Wonderful location, great property, super pool and extremely helpful host. Whilst perfectly serviceable, a couple of the bedrooms and the kitchen would benefit from a refresh.

Absolutely lovely week in a superb location!The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped … and who wouldn’t to cook and eat in a kitchen diner with that view!Gaucin is peaceful and beautiful village and we visited a couple of excellent restaurants. We enjoyed the location so much that we only ventured out of Gaucin twice! Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful villa in a beautiful pueblo blanco. A group of 8 of us stayed for four wonderful nights in Gaucin. A perfect reprieve from the world. Everything was perfect: the views, the house, the pool. Thank you

This is a fabulous house with a view to die for. We never go to anywhere twice but have made an exception here. Mark is an incredibly helpful host and Esther, a very responsive house keeper. Gaucin is a perfect town with lovely restaurants and bars. We loved it. It sounds gushing but it really was that good!

Just returned from a wonderful relaxing holiday in this beautiful villa. We were charmed by the village of Gaucín and its fabulous range of bars and restaurants. The villa itself its outstanding with so many different areas in which to sit back and soak in the amazing views. Extremely well maintained and equipped, we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Our hosts Mark and Star were incredibly helpful and kind enough to invite us for drinks in their nearby property, also gorgeous!

Cycling Holiday

Beautiful house in a nice village with many top notch restaurants. Areas to the north offered excellent and varied road cycling. Cycleronda in Ronda offered great suppprt for our cycling holiday.

Check in was easy. Kitchen facilities were very good and well equipped However some areas of the villa were looking tired and needed freshening up. Bed linen and pillows definitely needs to be renewed

The property is very well kept. The views are simply stunning. And is well located on the edge of the village within easy walking distance of amenities, and enough parking space, which isn’t often the case in Gaucin

A perfect week with astonishing views

The villa and surrounding area is dreamy. We were two families with 5 children between us and our stay was perfect Mark and Esther were on hand to answer any questions and help with anything that we needed. We cannot wait to spend a week in the mountains again.

Beautiful villa and village

A1 location, incredibly relaxed and great hosts, Mark & Star, who happened to be around and asked us for lovely drinks at their other property. So relaxed in fact, that I read 3+ books in a week. Plenty of great eateries, although we did BBQ twice too.

Breathtaking Great Owners

We loved Christmas 2024 in Gaucin at this lovely home. The property is just sublime, with views that take your breath away.Mark and Star, the owners, were incredibly helpful and thoughtful with their communication - which made our trip to Spain unforgettable. We highly recommend Maria, a personal chef, who is able to prepare special meals at this property.

Amazing house with outstanding views!

Fantastic house with amazing views of mountain valley, Gibraltar, Mediterranean, all the way to Morocco! Gaucin in a wonderful village with several bars and restaurants within its narrow winding roads (get a small car) Host was a great communicator and did everything possible to make sure we were happy and comfortable.

Wonderful Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the house. It is a beautiful location and property. Really stunning and full of personality. Be aware, there are a lot of stairs in the property but we have that at our own home so our young girls weren’t phased and Mark had warned us when booking. Mark was a brilliant host and full of knowledge of the local birds. We have planned a return visit next year!
