"Very clean and pleasant; close to the Cahokia Mounds Historic Site and St. Louis isn't too far, either... and get this: at 5:30 in the evening they have a Happy Hour, which they call Kickback, with free food and drinks. Read that sentence again! After a long drive (over 400 miles for us), it was nice to relax and not even have to go out for dinner. Breakfast was also gratis, and very good, as well. "We were put in a pet friendly room. The room smelled like it as well. We did not bring our pet. The pillows were half the size of regular pillows. Pubic hair on supposed clean towels. Pool was closed. The breakfast in the morning was sparse. Better than motel 8 across the parking lot. Safe space to stay."
