"Had the best time with all my friends at this house! We love how every room was different and loved the game room! We were in the poker room every night and on the dock every day! The check in and check out was super easy to make out stay that much better. The owners are very kind and generous. The house was super clean the beds were very comfortable! "

"This property was perfect for our group of friends in town for a wedding on the lake. Every couple had their own room with plenty of bathrooms and plenty of space to spread out. We did not have kids on this trip but the downstairs kitchen and entertainment area would be perfect for kids. We rented a pontoon boat which also gave us a fun way to get to and from the wedding. This house is the perfect house for large groups. We hope to be back soon. "

"For a last minute stay in the fall, it was a nice stay. There may have been some vacancy between the last stay and ours which led to it not being as clean (kitchen, surfaces, webs across most entries to the home. Setting was nice - we enjoyed the cabin feel of the home and it was stocked with a ton of stuff. Overall still had a great time"

"The setting is perfect. The host “Marc” is very nice, happens to be near the property came by to say hello. A very fine gesture for him to display. Our stay was totally relaxing and everyone had a very nice time and the home is perfect. We would like to visit in the fall when the trees have changed, weather is cooler to use the outdoor fireplace. "

"Staying in this house with my friends was amazing!!! Our experience was excellent. The house is very clean and has everything a large group could need, the beds are very comfortable, Sufficient bathrooms and very spacious. and the amenities are great enough to enjoy by the lake. "Was everything it advertised. We will stay here again. The only complaint is that cards do not slide well on the table, but we were able to combat that by simply throwing a blanket over it. We had an awesome time. We were not expecting the neighbors dog to welcome us at 10pm, but it is super friendly and had that puppy energy to welcome us in. My daughter wanted to take it home."

"House was wonderful, description does not do it justice. More than enough room to not be on top of each other if you have adults and kids. Communication with Adam was excellent host even with a late night call. check in a breeze welcome notebook was one of the best, thank you for explaining the remotes for the TV. AND.. labeling the light switches, no guessing!! Would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your home. "

We were approved to have my sister in law’s wedding here for a small family ceremony and reception. "Lovely rental, gracious host, TONS of space, cozy, everything is within 15 minutes. The only things I would say to the contrary is... there's a window in the kitchen I wish had a blind or a curtain (for privacy), and the water take a while to get warm. If I am ever to go back to Roanoke Rapids (or surrounding areas) if available I would DEFINITELY stay here again."
