"Slaley is a grand hotel, outdated in parts, but don't let this put you off. Check in was quick, room spacious and clean. Nice view over looking the driveway. Bars were good and not to expensive. Breakfast was ok,food was fine, but kept running bout. lots of guests and the coffee machines kept running ..."

"Nicely appointed cottage that had everything you could need.Plenty of internal space, outside rooftop patio and hidden garden area.No wifi signal, and poor mobile phone signal added to the seclusion - away from the real world. Very rural, transport necessary to get anywhere."

"Beautiful house located in the heart of the amazing village of Alston. Everything (restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, etc) is within walking distance. If we ever come this way again I would book this place again in a heartbeat!"
