Family Friendly Seaside Home 2 Blocks from Beach Covered Patio

This property is a 4 bedroom, 3 full bath, home in the community of Pirates Beach subdivision. The house has a large game room loft for kids and a bunk room on the ground floor for teenagers. Super family friendly. Located just a 3 blocks from the beach. We can accommodate OVER 12 with approval.

A large driveway can park 4 cars. If you bring your bikes or your street legal golf cart and any beach accessories, the two car garage has plenty of room for storage. The bottom bedroom is a perfect teen hangout. The patio is under the house for hanging out in the shade and playing games. The first floor has a large living and dining room and a very spacious kitchen. The top floor is a playroom and bunk room for your family.

My family and another family stayed here, and the property and location was great. The house was clean and had plenty of room. I wish we would have known about all of the beach items that were available at the house (sun canopy, chairs, wagons, containers for building sand castles). We brought our own items, but we’ll know for next time. We would definitely rent this house again.

Everything was great, house was clean lots of extra stuff for the beach, Rooms were great lots of room, only thing is the fridge and freezer were missing shelves, only one refrigerator in the whole place nothing downstairs in the garage, so not a lot of storage for food or anything and easy cold.

Close to Beach

The house is close to a beach that is less crowded than the beaches in town. Always found a nice spot on the beach with plenty of room. The house has a good assortment of beach chairs and toys with a large wagon to haul all your stuff to the beach. Check-in was easy and straightforward.

Well stocked and comfortable home.

This house had many items that made it comfortable to enjoy time at the home. For example, there is plenty of cook wear, glasses, cups, and cooking utensils. I appreciate that the owner provided spices too. The living room has a smart tv so we were able to see movies on our phones using airplay. The garage had plenty of chairs and other items for the beach and a washer and dryer. My family enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again in the future.

Excellent house for our needs - clean and plenty of space. We loved the gorilla carts for taking things to beach - also appreciated the tent, chairs and sand toys for the kids! We will definitely stay here again. Host answered my questions and concerns promptly!

Reunion weekend

Property is really nice. Love downstairs area that is large and breezy! Played games which were provided! Great selection of beach items as well! The house was good for the children to be upstairs and adults down ! In all the place is a great place for a long weekend with family!

Beach time

Pirates beach is a great spot. Clean semi private not crazy crowded. The house was great,fully loaded for all your needs clean and comfortable. Only 2 suggestions a roll up sunscreen on the east side for the patio so you don’t need sunglasses to have your morning coffee and a real coffee pot not a keurig Really enjoyed the place and we will stay there again.

Wonderful stay

Highlights- the garage beach stuff!! Wish we had known the house had a pop up canopy, we wouldn’t have lugged ours down. The linens were so nice! Super comfortable. The king mattress has seen better days. The kitchen had blender, keurig and toaster. All great amenities. There was no foil, Saran and such and bring your own spices. Basic dishes,cups, utensils all included. The covered deck with table and comfy chairs were used all of the time!! There is a secret small room upstairs that the grandsons absolutely loved! No one slept there though. Pack and play was a great addition! Lastly although we didn’t use the bunk room downstairs, would be perfect for older kids! The full bath downstairs was great to have!! Thank you Marta!!

Spring Break 2023

This home and property was perfect for our family of 9. Space for everyone to play, eat, lounge, and find alone time. The kids LOVED the bunk room! I especially loved the upstairs deck to have morning coffee and view the Gulf waves rolling in. There is an abundance of beach toys, chairs, rugs, boogie boards, carts to haul them, and more that made walking to the beach so easy. Thank you!!!!

Excellent house!

Our family and friends (7 adults, 3 kids) stayed here for 4 days. It was wonderful! Great response from the owner, the house was very clean and exactly as advertised. She even had beach chairs, a canopy, kids beach toys, and 2 large carts to transport our stuff to the beach for us, which was an easy 7 minute walk away! Great experience!!!

Great Beach House

This house was perfect for our large group! We enjoyed our stay so much! They have everything you could possibly need for your beach getaway! They had 2 large carts, towels for the beach, chairs, toys, volleyball net and all kinds of other things to do! The house was clean, comfortable and very spacious. It was a short walk down to the beach, although we brought our bicycles and golf cart. The neighborhood was very nice and everyone was friendly! Marta was very quick to respond to messages and available. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Galveston!

Would definitely visit again

We took a short family vacation here with 7 adults and 7 kids. The home was plenty big enough for everyone. There were tons of beach toys for the kids. They owner was very easy to get a hold of when any issues did occur. The place was very clean I only gave 4 stars on how clean it was because the couch was pretty dirty in the slits but everything else was really clean. It’s super close walk to the beach and a beautiful quiet neighborhood, very relaxing! Also the beds were super comfortable and the place stayed really cool even with how hot it would get during the day.

Family Fourth

Our party consisted of 6 adults, 4 kids & 1 infant. Highly recommend this pridtine property as it has ample beds, an outdoor shower as well as all the necessities for a day at the beach (a 3 block walk) - beach towels, chairs, canopy/tent, sand toys and the most wonderful Gorilla Carts (2) to transport everything. The only critique I have is lack of kitchen counterspace. There was a grill but we didn't need to use it. The host, Marta, responded timely to my inquiries/messages. Overall a win-win experience!

Great property

This property has everything you need. Just a short walk to the beach. And they had everything from beach towels to umbrellas and beach toys for the kids. Plus everything you need for the house also. Really just need to bring your clothes and food. Plenty of room for our family of 9. Thanks Marta!

Family Reunion

We had a total of 28 people spread out between three houses in Galveston for our family trip but everyone spent the majority of their time at this house. It is extremely spacious on all levels and a short walk to the beach. The downstairs "patio" with the outside shower was the best. It's fenced in so great for the kids and dogs but also gave our group privacy throughout the day. They had gorilla carts which were a life savor when transporting things to the beach.
