Newly remodeled entire house for family vacation. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Nice cooking and dining area. Close to attractive sites in Galveston. Parking is available on the street and driveway. It’s 3.5 miles to cruise terminal 2 and 3.7 miles to terminal 1.

This place was perfect for our family of 8 the night before our cruise! Lots of room, plenty of beds, clean and we were able to walk to the beach! The host was so responsive and accommodating! We would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay . So many beds and the 2 1/2 baths are great for a big group. Very clean and beds were comfortable. Being mid-summer the only negative I have was it was a little hot in bedrooms. All the extra fans were a big help maybe just another little a/c window unit in each bedroom.

A great stay!

The property was in a great, central location. It was extremely clean and well kept. The house did run slightly warm, but August in SE Texas is usually hot. There were high powered fans provided in nearly every room that were perfect for cooling everything down, however. We were very happy with the level of communication and availability of the manager. Everything was great, and we would very happily stay again!

Summer vacation

The rental had plenty of space for our group. The AC wouldn’t cool and kept going up when we put it down. Don’t know if it was controlled by host but was uncomfortable one night with it being 77 at night. The outside could us some cleaning up and care.

Cruise stay

We stayed the night before our cruise, easy check in, great communication with owner, got code 48 hours ahead of time. Cleanliness of House was good. Though, House needs quite a few updates. There is quite a few spots on the walls that need painting and had patchwork done in several different areas of the house, and a few spots with marks on the doors & walls, which was not very appealing. The AC did not get cold at all. Temp on thermostat is as cool as it got in the house. But other than that inside, was fine. Outside on the other hand needed quite a bit of work. There was a pile of wood or construction material in the back up against the fence by the back patio, which was a snake hazard, I was not even risking going back there, an extension cord running under the back stairs, who knows where that went or where it was plugged in, the entire yard was overgrown, weeds growing through all of the sidewalk and patio, trash stuffed in banisters up front outside, and bags of mulch laying in several places you can tell have been there for a good while. So yes yard needs a little TLC. And yes I take pictures of everything as soon as we arrive at any VRBO so we don’t get blamed for anything. I have more pictures than I can upload. But overall it was not bad stay and it is in a great location to get to the cruise ports.

Served the purpose

The unit is a bit dated and could use a bit of attention to detail. The property is overgrown and unkempt. It was clean. There were air purifiers in every room which helped. It might be brutal on a very hot day. More appropriate for a group of young people.

Charming house.

This was a clean and charming house for our group to stay overnight before our cruise. There was plenty of room and it is a very convenient location. I would stay here longer the next time we come to town in order to enjoy the outdoor space as well! Great communication from the host as well!

Super cute!

This house gives grandma vibes, in the best way possible. Very spacious. The kitchen is fully stocked and was so easy to cook in. The back patio is super cute. All rooms and bathrooms were clean. Would recommend staying here!

Not Pleasing

The house by itself is cute. The owner of the property was responsive when I reached out with questions. However, the home is not clean. The smoke detectors went off anytime we turned on the stove. Although there is a shower in one of the other restrooms, it was not working. Multiple items in the home did not work. I would recommend only if cleanliness, functionality, and comfortable beds are not important to a person.
