  • "Slides and Tides" is a BRAND NEW build in Galveston Tx. It features 4 bedrooms, and 3.5 beautiful bathrooms. Relax and enjoy your family vacation in this professionally decorated beach themed house. The parents will enjoy the large pool with a waterfall and bubblers in the tanning ledge. The kids will love the slide in the bunk room. The golfers will enjoy the location near the Moody gardens golf course and putting green. The 3 balconies have views of the beach and bay. Enjoy amazing sunsets and sunrises. The living room has a large 65 inch TV and there are two "primary bedrooms" with bathrooms. There is a full size washer and Dryer for longer trips and we also supply branded " slides and tides" beach towels. Enjoy Evia, the neighborhood that backs up to the house. They have a great coffee bar called the sugar bean, as well as a winery and restaurants. Between Evia and the house is a horse pasture that the family will LOVE where you can walk right up to the horses and donkeys ( its the Galveston police / sheriffs ranch) . Our Property is HUGE ( 16,000+ sqft) and goes all the way to the ranch in the back. Beyond our pool fence is a great area for bird watching, and we will soon be adding some bird baths and sitting areas in the back. But it is still great for a morning stroll. Come enjoy one of the Nicest homes on the island!

Great location and beautiful home. We enjoyed it with our family of 10. The steps were a challenge for our 15 month old, but everything was perfectly laid out. The beautiful pool was a lifesaver with 5 boys under the age of 7. Would definatly go back again.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The beach house was beautiful, charming, and spotless. The customer service was truly exceptional—every question I had was answered so quickly, and communication was seamless the entire time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

It is an awesome place! Highly recommend. We lost power (obviously not the host fault) due to tropical Storm Arthur but truly enjoyed our stay . We were able to use the pool everyday. The filter system was spot on and kept the pool blue and sparkling. We will be returning.

The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of space, clean and very comfortable. The pool was a hit and perfect for night time family swims. The fire pit was also exciting for the kids and nightly smores were also part of the routine. Evia is very cute and so close. The place is really well located in general…close enough to town if you need any essentials or want to eat out, a few minutes from beaches, but also far enough away where the only sounds you hear are the crickets and frogs. Highly recommend for families and anyone else looking for a clean quiet spot in galveston.

House was in an excellent location, away from all the tourist traps and within walking distance to Evia which we truly enjoyed. Home was beautiful and clean, pool was great and lit at night for evening swims, and host was excellent (even checked in during our stay). Highly recommend!

The house is a little far from the beach, but it’s only about a 5-minute drive. The beach near the house was convenient for parking and had great facilities. After coming back from the beach, it was nice to relax and swim in the pool.The house was very clean, and the beds were comfortable, so we had a pleasant stay for two nights. The only downside was that there were quite a few stairs. My elderly parents found it difficult to go up and down them, but the kids absolutely loved it. Overall, we had a great stay.

What an amazing home and weekend getaway with the girls. We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready to get my sister married to the love of her life. The home was truly spectacular and had every essential item.

Family Weekend

We had an amazing time here this weekend! Everything was so beautiful, clean and not one missed detail. We all enjoyed the pool and patio areas. The house is in a perfect location just minutes away from the cutest town center with shopping and eateries. The checkin and checkout process was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

As a busy family, we love the opportunity to get together and unwind! This beautiful home was perfect for our large group! Everyone had some space to gather or even have a little quiet time. Conveniently located near all the Galveston attractions. Our host communicated with us during our stay to make sure all was well. We truly enjoyed the chefs kitchen, the refreshing pool and some late evenings sipping adult beverages by the fire pit! Definitely would rebook this home!

I promise you won’t be disappointed!

We enjoyed everything about our stay! The house was spotless and tastefully decorated. The beds were plush which had me feeling like I was sleeping in a luxury hotel. There was plenty of outdoor furniture to hangout and relax when we weren’t enjoying the pool or making s’mores at the fire pit. The host was amazing and extremely easy to communicate with. All in all, our stay here was perfect and will definitely book here again when back in Galveston!

A lovely place to stay! Or… paradise in Galveston

This is a wonderful property. It’s new, beautifully furnished for beachfront ease (poolside, a comfy sectional and chairs, another couch on the upper deck, and yet more chairs at the fire pit!), and equally comfortable for kids and adults inside. Also spotless. All the features from kitchen equipment to tv to bathrooms were new and easy to use. The pool was a delight. And we felt private but were close to town and the seawall and beaches there. The owners were super nice and responsive. All in all just a perfect spot to enjoy family time!

Everything was great. The house is in a quiet area and not too far from things to do. The pool was nice and warm. We enjoyed the fire by the pool and made s’mores with the kids. There is plenty of space in the house for guests to visit and have dinner. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen! Recommendations: a few laundry pods for the guest to do laundry. The store was nearby so it was an easy grab while we were out, no biggie, just nice to have. Also, not quite sure what we were doing wrong but the lights turn on randomly. The guest book mentioned it happening in their stay too. :)Overall, the place was great. We enjoyed our stay, we have recommended the home to others, and we would love to come back! Thank you again!!!

Nice property

It was a nice property. Cool area. Not close to any of the attractions like the strand or pier but easy to get to. Washer and dryer did not work and one of the master tubs didn’t drain well. Shower pressure is very low. Owners communicated well and quickly. Just can’t rate 5 stars with the issues we had.

Amazing weekend with 2 families

Our group had 4 adults, 5 kids and a little dog. The house was easy to find, easy to access, well appointed and clean. We had plenty of towels and everyone had a place to sleep. The pool was fantastic and got a lot of use. Additionally, there are some pool noodles and a few pool toys in a storage bin outside. They even put the forethought into providing stuff for smores and, while it was too windy in the evenings to responsibly have a fire, we did make some breakfast smores one day--which was accepted by all the children as a fair compromise :)Overall, we had a wonderful trip, with a heap of the credit for how welcoming and communicative Jason and Shawna are.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this rental was something special where every detail has been thoughtfully considered.The heated pool was an absolute highlight — we were in it morning, noon, and night. There’s something magical about floating under the stars in perfectly warm water.The fire pit and host provided s’more makings were loved by the grandkids and gave me a nostalgic taste I hadn’t had for over 20 years! The beach was a short drive away and we found a great spot with beach chairs and umbrella rentals. The kids played in the sand for hours.We strolled The Strand, ate fresh seafood and indulged in ice cream and candy from La King’s.The incredibly comfortable beds were a dream. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I woke up so well-rested on a trip.The decor deserves its own paragraph. Stylish, warm, and cohesive throughout — this home feels like it was designed by someone who truly loves beautiful spaces. Cozy and chic all at once. To the hosts: thank you for creating such a special place. If you’re on the fence about booking — don’t hesitate. You will not regret it. Will be watching the NCAA tournament on our way home. Wreck’Em Tech! 🖤
