We offer a 10% discount for returning guests!

This ground floor condo is located at the Dawn Condos right across the street from the new beautiful sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico.
The condo offers two bedrooms (one en suite) , a lounge/dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette and a patio overlooking one of the two outdoor pools. It is next to Walmart and the most popular fishing pier with easy access to the roadway to Houston Texas.
In addition to the two pools there is a hot tub, BBQ grills and a fitness suite. This location is peaceful, beautifully maintained and "just a paradise".
Catch the Trolly in front on the condo complex and explore downtown Galveston.
Some of the attractions close by are the Moody Gardens amusement park and aquarium, Elissa museum, Historic Pleasure Pier, a wide variety of things to do and attractions to see down on the Strand.
Take a relaxing day looking for the trees carved into unique figures with an interesting history behind the reason for the trees and have fun for the kids to help spot these tree figures. You can also see the big cruise ships roll in. There are many great restaurants not to mention the freshest fish markets in town.
Galveston always has events on the island. Keep up with Galveston's website for the next upcoming event.
I want your stay and enjoyment to be the best it can be. If I can help with anything please let me know. I always appreciated when the host helped me on my travels with recommendations so I really want to return that favor.
The condo is fully furnished all you need is your clothes and food. I have recently updated the interior including a large smart tv in living room and smart TVs in bedrooms. New pictures coming soon!

Pros:1. Great location! As described, beach is right across the street and the heated pool is visible from the patio (though no gate to get to it—you have to walk around building). 2. AC and heat both worked well. We had to use both as it swung between 40-80 degrees during our stay. 3. Plenty of pillows, towels, and even beach chairs provided. 4. There is both a drip coffee maker and a pod coffee maker. 5. Walmart is close by to purchase necessities. Cons:1. Provided gate entry codes were incorrect. 2. Condo smelled bad. Quickly figured out it was the fridge. Not much in it so idk why it stinks so badly but needs bleached and deodorized. 3. Was worried about getting there by 5pm due to 9-5 office hours. Communicated this to owner but didn’t receive a reply. So left our house at 6am to ensure we made it on time. 4. Door lock has green specks of something on it—mold? Not sure but gross. 5. Beds were very uncomfortable. Also, the in orange colored room didn’t match bed frame size so our little one and me both kept hitting our leg on it when walking by. Finally, we put up throw pillows around it. 6. Check out instructions said to put used laundry in tub. But there is a sign in the bathroom that reads “do not put laundry in the tub.” So, that’s conflicting. We just put it in the laundry basket in the laundry area. 7. The light outside the unit is either not working or burned out. Just fyi.

This is a first floor property so no beach view but beach is literally 2 min. away across the street (went there numerous days). The view from the deck is the pool which is beautiful and spent many hours there as well. The grounds are extremely well kept (pools, paint, trees/shrubbery). The condo had everything needed for an extended stay and the bed was extremely comfortable. Extra beach towels available. This is our 2nd year at this condo and to note, the quality of the wi-fi has improved since last year (perhaps an upgrade by the provider?). Melissa is always available on the vrbo message site.

We had a bit of trouble getting into the fenced parking lot because of multiple gate codes provided to us…also, we arrived after office hours so we could not ask for help..the next AM visit to office showed that we did not have the current code!

Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Great space for our family! Only one negative comment is that the pool was advertised to be heated and was not. Hot tub was great so that was a good compromise. I would definitely stay here again

A lovely all inclusive beach condo

It had everything we needed all in 1 spot. Plus 2 pools and the beach was just across the street. Communication woth our host was top notch. We had a small problem on day 2 and it was resolved with hours. We recommend this beach condo to anyone that seeks a beautiful , spacious, safe place to enjoy Galveston.

Cruise Vacation

We enjoyed our stay here. It had great access to pools and a very short walk to the beach. It was very clean and nice place to stay. We didn’t have any issues. The only thing I would correct is the front office is open even on weekends and you must check in at the office first in order to get into the gate to your place to stay. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was absolutely perfect. Clean, well stocked, perfect location on the Seawall. There are two great pools, and you can walk right across the street to play on the beach. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you could need to cook your own meals, and it is also well stocked with bath towels, beach towels, linens, etc. Easy check in and check out, we had zero issues.

The property was amazing! Directly across the street from the beach, which was super clean! This two bedroom condo is a dream! Comfortable beds, clean living quarters, and nestled in between the two pools at the condo resort! We will definitely be back!!

On Sunday evening, June 29th we stayed overnight at my family ranch outside of Dripping Springs, TX. Our dog went roaming around 10:00 p.m. and found a porcupine. Within two hours we were at the Emergency Vet Hospital and the Vet performed surgery to remove the quills. On Monday during the day we took our dog to our Vet and they removed more quills. We made a decision to cancel our reservations and care for our dog.

Wrong gate access code.

The gate code is not valid! That is an old code. We tried calling the number on the key pad panel but no answer. Finally had to drive to the office to get the correct code. In addition, the bedding in the second room (nearest the kitchen) was not clean. We had to wash the sheets. The property is very nice but I wanted you to know that it was not cleaned properly.

Excellent Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed stay!! The beds were so comfy! The closet space is huge! Close enough to both pools. Very clean. Thankful for the in condo washer/dryer. We had a small problem with the electronics of the door, and the owner responded promptly and fixed it. Our only issue was the gate codes in the email you received are not correct. You need to get the correct ones from the office when you check in. Lots of beach towels were also a plus.
