The house was very nice and very clean. The host was responsive and courteous. We did encounter a few problems that affected the comfort of our stay:We found the water pressure in the upstairs shower to be so low that it was not usable. We all ended up sharing the downstairs shower. Also, the faucet in upstairs bathtub is loose. There is no place to put soap, shampoo, razors, etc in the bath tub. It needs to have a a shelf installed.Shower head needs to be lowered at least a foot. No one could reach it. Improvements that would make the stay more comfortable for us would be:Lamps need to be added in the living room - we could not read, sew, or hardly see in there, and do not like to use bright overhead lights. Lamps are needed on all of the nightstands in the bedrooms that are bright enough for reading, and without the clear glass shades - there is too much harsh glare. Wastebaskets are needed in the bathrooms - where do we put tissues, cotton swabs, dental floss, etc. Towel bars should be added - 2 small hooks on the wall are inadequate. There should be mattress pads on the mattresses for sanitation. The mattresses will quickly be ruined without them. Oven temperatures are set to Celsius readings and need to be changed to Fahrenheit. These things would greatly improve the comfort of staying in the home. However, we do appreciate all the hard work that had obviously been done in the house, and we would stay there again and recommend it to others.
