The place was perfect for catching up with a group of friends away from the kids (although it would be great with kids as well). The house has 5 separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which was a fantastic plus. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and spices for cooking and a dishwasher for cleaning up. It was almost 90 during out trip, so we didn't take advantage of the hot tub, but the outdoor grill and screened in sitting area were fantastic! We would definitely stay here again for any future get togethers!

We had a wonderful time at Galena Getaway! There were 10 of us, and it was such a bonus that each couple had their own room and private bathroom—so much space and comfort. The grounds and views were absolutely beautiful, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, bake, or grill. The town of Galena was just a short 15–20 minute drive away, and when the summer heat kicked in, we loved being able to head just 4 minutes up the road to the included pool, game room, and fitness center. There’s so much to see in the area, and we truly hope to be back—we’d definitely love to stay here again!
