The secluded Lakefront home is on almost two acres of wooded land with pine, oak, magnolia, and hickory trees. Enjoy the beautiful waterfront views from the indoor living area, large wrap-around deck, or brand new dock with sundeck and screen in the room. Starlink Wi-Fi is available at the house.

Walk from the deck of the house on a wooden walkway down to our beautiful large dock. The dock has a large screened-in room with a comfortable love seat, two lounge chairs, a coffee table, an end table, and a ceiling fan with light. This is the perfect spot to relax, read, enjoy the lakefront, or even bring the laptop down for work outside. There is also a large sundeck with two Adirondack chairs and a chaise lounge for sitting outside to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. We also have an outdoor shower on the dock to shower off after your swim.

The pontoon housed in the boat house on the dock is available for rental at an additional charge. Please contact for more information.

The house is on a private, spring-fed lake recognized for excellent fishing, swimming, relaxing, floating on a raft, boating, and skiing. Be sure to try out some fishing, as our lake is great for catching bass, bluegill, and sunfish. Fishing poles and tackle are provided. Enjoy the 2-person kayak or single kayak around the large lake.

The spotless waterfront home has two good-sized bedrooms, one renovated bathroom, and a large open-concept living area comprising the brand new kitchen, dining area, and living room with panoramic lakefront views. Both bedrooms are outfitted with gorgeous Amish-made solid wood furniture. The kitchen is fully stocked to prepare your meals in-house. The large, solid wood, Amish-made breakfast nook is perfect for gathering the family around to share in the bounty from your lake fishing. Outside dining on the deck on a beautiful poly lumber Amish patio set is also available.

Our home will surely become your home away from home and the perfect retreat to get away from it all!

With cleanliness being more important than ever, I wanted to let you know what we are doing to keep our property germ-free and our guests safe. Cleanliness and disinfecting the house is our primary concern. Our property has always been spotless, but we take extra special measures to ensure it is disinfected and sanitized after each guest.

Peace and Tranquility

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this beautiful lakefront home for my 50th birthday! The pontoon rental was the perfect touch, and the peaceful setting made for a truly relaxing getaway. My dad, my Yorkie, and I had the best time—thank you for a memorable stay! We plan on returning.

Perfect

This lake house was fantastic. The pontoon boat was flawless and it was a very comfortable ride and great to fish from. The house had everything you needed and I can’t say enough about the dock. The screened in porch is such a great idea and so comfortable. The fan and light in there were great. Caught a lot fish. Saw a lot of wild life and just enjoyed myself immensely. Bailey, my dog , would agree. This is the place to get away from it all. Thanks for letting me stay in such a wonderful lake house. PERFECT

Little Piece of Heaven!

As has been our experience in the past, we had such an amazing time just doing a lot of nothing! Our favorite thing to do! We caught some fish and ate them…..another of our favorite things to do. This is the most perfect place to relax and take in so many of God’s wonders. Thank you Linse and Jim, for sharing your beautiful lake place with us! Star Lake

A Great Escape

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is it. This lake house offers a lot of amenities, is well maintained and is comfortable and clean. The wraparound deck overlooks the lake. And the screened gazebo is a plus. The host is very responsive. I highly recommend this place.

Perfect getaway!

My wife and I had a lovely stay at this property over Valentine's week. We brought our 2 dogs, who also loved the lake and rural surroundings. The property had all of the perfect, thoughtful touches for pet-parents, and all of the amenities you could need for a stay. Communication, and recommendations were timely and on point, and the home was spotless. Would love to come back as often as we can in the future!

Beautiful place. Everything was perfect. The manager was very accomadating as we had Hurricane Milton come through on our check in day so we were allowed to move our date back. Excellent communication. We plan on staying again.

Relaxing stay

We were looking for a property to accommodate our family of 3 and dog while we attended the UF football game and visited our son. Although this property is about a 35 minute drive to campus, it’s a relaxing drive and welcoming environment after being around 80K people at a football game! We would definitely stay there again.

A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth

I cannot think of enough accolades to describe how amazing this lake place is. This is our second stay and we enjoyed it as much or more this time as we did the first time. It is so nice to have a vacation place that allows us to take our dog along and NOT have to worry about her one little bit. She feels right at home!!! Linse is a jewel and she and her husband have created a special place to share with others that offers a chance for their tenants to get back to what is truly important in life. Relaxing Lake Holiday

This was the most relaxed I've been since I moved from Cincinnati to Venice. It was so peaceful and the view was gorgeous. It was just what we needed! We loved it so much we have already rebooked for in the Fall.

A wonderful time

We had a wonderful stay at Star Lake.Caught a 10 lb bass ! Our hosts couldn’t have been more gracious in our stay. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful tranquil getaway.

Spring Break getaway

Our stay was wonderful. We had everything we needed. We saw eagles and other wild life everyday. Fishing is good right off the dock, we rented the pontoon and found it very nice to cruise the lake.

A wonderful lakeshore cabin!

Love this place. Hope to come back. Loved the screened dock room and watching the eagles and noted that there was a barred owl nearby. Went kayaking and hiked the nearby trails. Even watch a SpaceX rocket launch. My dog enjoyed the thrill of the hunt with the lizards who teased her at every turn. So relaxing and rejuvenating!

If solitude is your goal, this is the place. The cottage is well maintained, and the lake is beautiful. Perfect for flat water kayaking and fishing. The host has thought of everything and the furnishings were of top quality. Should have booked our entire vacation there. Thank you

Peaceful & Fun

My sister and I had a remarkable stay at this lovely place. The house was adorable, clean and comfortable and the property was absolutely stunning. We took the pontoon boat out on the lake twice and even though the temperature was a little chilly the boat was really fun!! Our puppies even loved the pontoon rides. We hiked some local trails for 3 days and loved coming back to the comfy house (with an absolutely stunning view). We had a fire in the firepit and roasted sausages and marshmellows which was perfect for our chilly weather. Linse was an amazing host and made the entire process easy. She also left us a warm welcome note and bottle of champaign - what a sweet way to start off a little adventure. The reference book was full of things to do, places to go and had all the instructions you need, (I wish every VRBO owner did this) which makes the stay so much more pleasant. I would reccomend this place to anyone who would want to have a "base camp" for local activities or someone that wants a lovely place to relax. I would definately love to come back and stay here. Wonderful Stay!

Great Vacation

The house was beautiful and had everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the dock in the screen room. Our dog loved the large property. Only negative thing was we did not want to leave. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home.
