Madeira Island is a perfect destination for great walks and lots of fun with those you love. After fantastic walks, boat trips and descents in the famous basket carts, your family deserve to rest with great comfort, in a place with excellent taste.
This is the perfect place for your family!
The property has three bedrooms, both with double bed and decorated to the detail, where the classic and the modern decor are in tune, offering a pleasant atmosphere! The living room is large and has excellent natural light coming from the balcony, which offers a beautiful sea view and invites you for a quiet meal. The living room also has a sofa bed, giving a maximum capacity of seven people to the apartment.
In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, there are also two full bathrooms.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Situated in one of the most prestigious tourist areas of Funchal, this flat is close to a pleasant seafront promenade, beaches, supermarkets, pharmacies, shops and the Forum Madeira shopping center, with several internationally renowned brands and movie theatres.
You will also find in a walk distance plenty of bars and restaurants where you can indulge in our delicious gastronomy or in international cuisine. In addition to the nearby options, you will find a greater variety of restaurants in the city center, which can be reached within a five minutes drive.
Next, to the apartment, you will find a beach with a natural swimming pool where you can enjoy your morning dives.

GETTING AROUND
An aerobus bus stop for airport arrivals and departures is within one-minute walk distance from the flat. Nevertheless, we recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the flat. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi on your own at the airport!

GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to all areas of the flat.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair, and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher, and fire blanket are available in all properties.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Amazing Stay!

The apartment was in a perfect location, well equipped and decorated beautifully. I’ve stayed in a few different air bnb’s and this is by far my favourite. The only feed back is that we felt the floor was quite dirty as our feet would be extremely dirty after walking around. Overall i’d recommend this apartment to everyone and we’ve decided that we will use it when we come back to Madeira.

Très bel appartement très bien situé avec vue sur la mer depuis le balcon. Bien entretenu et propre, cet appartement nous a permit de passer de bons moments sur place. Très bon accueil à notre arrivée.

In our opinion, the apartment has some outstanding merits and several defects. Our chief disappointment was that the apartment was not as pictured on the website. The location, by the sea, at a bus stop, and near excellent food stores, is ideal. The view of the sea from the balcony is splendid. The housekeeping staff were efficient in attending to the bedroom, bathrooms, and to the kitchen. The maintenance crew arrived promptly and, at our request, effectively made some repairs to the furniture, the floor lamp, and the kitchen stove. However, the very sparsely furnished apartment was not as shown on the website: the pictured dining room table, the glass patio table, and the comfortable patio chairs were missing, replaced by less attractive pieces; the living-room rug was gone, rolled up with other junk in a storage area off the kitchen; the coffee table was broken, and, at our request, was replaced by one that was not; the damaged floor-lamp, and the broken arm of the very uncomfortable couch had to be repaired; the main burner on the kitchen stove (adjacent to the charred countertop) never did work, but the maintenance crew did manage to get the stove's other burners to function more reliably. The floors, which we swept every morning, needed a thorough cleaning, which they had not had before we arrived, and did not receive during our six-week stay. Our chief disappointment was that the rather costly apartment was not as pictured on the VRBO website. W.D. and S.A. Hawkins
