Waterfront Home! Newly Remodeled! (weow)

This beautiful waterfront home was updated with a modern feel, while still maintaining its Northwest contemporary charm. The wide deck offers a truly remarkable view and access to Westcott Bay and the surrounding landscapes. Paddle boarders and kayakers will find the access of launching their personal crafts as easy as possible! The house offers a deep-water mooring buoy to tie a boat up to if necessary; low tide provides 8’ depth and is safe for boats 50' or less. (House does not supply kayaks or paddle boards)

Westcott Bay Shellfish Farm is directly across the Bay, close enough to paddle board or kayak your way over to pick up the freshest shellfish on San Juan Island! This 2-bedroom (plus additional sleeping space), 3-bathroom home is perfect for a family getaway or a trip with friends. The primary bedroom has a king bed and en suite bath, the second bedroom has a queen and en suite bath, and the third sleeping space has a queen bed with a bathroom nearby.

Prepare meals in the gorgeous, updated kitchen, and enjoy them at the dining table or the expansive deck with outdoor furniture! After a day of exploring the Island, guests can spend their evening cozying up in the modern living room to enjoy a movie on the flat screen, or simply unplug and take in one of our famous San Juan sunsets!

Very nearby attractions include the Wescott Bay Cidery/San Juan Island Distillery and the Westcott Bay Shellfish Company. There are also some lovely walking hikes on the Roche Harbor trails and across the Bay at English Camp where the view from the top is well worth the hike!

Come experience the tranquility of Westcott Bay with the lively Roche Harbor resort just a short walk away.

San Juan Island 2023

The property and location was great! Well stocked, clean and spacious. This was our 3rd rental in this neighborhood, and it was the only one that didn't include kayaks, SUPs, water shoes and clamming buckets. Would have preferred some of those amenities for the price. It also advertised beach towels being provided and they were not. Other than that, we were very pleased with our experience.

Gorgeous place

Our family had a fantastic stay- wish it were longer! We saw seals, otters, deer and a fox! Paddling and kayaking on the bay was so much fun. The home was well stocked and not cluttered. We will be back!

Tranquility on Westcott Bay

A short drive from Friday Harbor, this home allowed our family to relax and enjoy the beauty of the island. We appreciated the amenities provided by the rental company. A few cushions for the outdoor chairs would have been a nice touch too!

Stunning location, lovely house!

The property is waterfront in a beautiful inlet. Herons flew by, tons of other birds. A young seal swam in front of the house. So peaceful! And the house is very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. We loved the island: took a whale watching tour and saw humpbacks, did a long bike ride to the historical park. Loved the whole experience!

House of Windows

We spent Christmas in this amazing home and it was perfect! The weather was cold and snowy but that made the views even more spectacular!! The home is spotless, the kitchen very well equipped, the views amazing and the beds super comfortable. The island is full of wildlife and we were lucky enough to see 2 Bald Eagles very close up. I highly recommend this house and island for a relaxing getaway!!

Gorgeous house and location

Loved this place. My husband, 3 kids, my mom, and myself were all very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We went mid-winter break and nearly got snowed in, but it was the perfect place to enjoy the snow. The hosts were very supportive and responsive. I would love to go back!

Beautiful and relaxing

Wow, this is such an amazing place! The house is absolutely beautiful. It’s right on the water, we’ll-stocked, and all around wonderful. There’s a small boat and kayaks for use and it’s impeccably clean. Plus the owners could not be nicer! We had to delay our check-in by a day due to inclement weather and they were so accommodating. After this stressful year it was just the vacation we needed and our nine year old cried when it was time to leave. Can’t wait to go back!

Peaceful getaway

We enjoyed a week before Christmas in Mark and Kathy’s beautiful house. The location was perfect for us, walking distance to Roche Harbor and driving distance to explore the rest of the Island. The house is set up very well with all basics provided. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms luxurious. The porch has lots of seating and two grills. The only thing I could think of to improve the house would be some shades to provide a shady reading spot in the living room when the sun is out. Thank you for your hospitality!

Everything was perfect from the minute we arrived!

First of all, the pictures of this property and its surroundings are great AND they don't do it justice! From the sunrises to the wildlife to the totally peacefully experience, this property is top notch and we will be back. While the home is only 1500 sq ft or so, it is PERFECTLY laid out and feels much larger. Where can you get 3 beds and 3 full baths in 1500 sq ft of waterfront property? We could have stayed for weeks...Roche Harbor is nearby and walkable to dining and a small but efficient market. Kayaking and clamming right from the deck. Tons of amentieies and very well stocked home. Loved everything about it. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Relaxing escape on the water

This is a wonderful property, right on Westcott Bay with incredible sunrises, abundance of wildlife and birds, and well equipped house with everything you need to make your stay great. The owners are super responsive and friendly, we had an issue with the heat the first night and they quickly fixed it the next day. The house is walking distance to Roche Harbor and the Sculpture Garden which is really nice. Overall, great stay and would do it again!
