Come and enjoy Lazy Dayz with your family & friends.

Short walk to the pedestrian beach with views of the Gulf you are sure to unwind and enjoy making fun new memories with your family. .

Jetty Park is a close by, walk to the end of the half a mile long jetty which is ideal for fishing, walking, or just watching the large ships go by in the channel. sometimes you see dolphins playing right at the end of the jetty. There's also a nature trail located close by.


This cute beach home boasts a spacious fully equipped kitchen with a reverse osmosis unit under the kitchen sink for drinking & cooking water.

Spacious living room with seating for all, 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make delicious meals at home.

Our Main bedroom has a king size bed with a luxury Saatva organic mattress, 2nd bedroom has a full bed and a twin over full bunk bed.

A pack n play and Washer & dryer are available for you to use.

Fresh, Clean bed linens and bath towels are provided.

Outside, you’ll find an outdoor hot/cold shower, picnic table and a charcoal grill for you to enjoy.

Come and a enjoy a slower placed life, relax and enjoy our little bit of paradise at the beach!


Friendly reminders:

Our home is not available for parties or large gatherings, including Prom groups. We market to families and groups of friends seeking to relax and enjoy the peace that only a true beach vacation can provide.

Max allowed in the house sleeps is 7 (6 Adults max) No day guests allowed without permission. Only those on the reservation allowed on the property

We are dog friendly, upto Two dogs allowed, please don't allow on furniture/ bed linens. bring own dog beds, do not leave home alone unless crated and please pick up after your pet. Pet fee $100 non-refundable


Please note surfside city water is not potable, we do have a whole house filter, It is safe to bathe in and for laundry butnor for cooking or drinking We do have a water dispenser with 3 gallon jugs which can be refilled at city hall. Your welcome to bring your own too

No Third-party bookings , the person booking needs to be staying for the duration of the stay

Hurricane/storm Policy - We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect you against the unexpected including Hurricane/storms and COVID and any other unforeseen circumstances, no refunds will be issues outside of our cancellation policy. No dates changes allowed .

Property has two cameras one on the house looking down onto the drive, the other looking down the stairs both record on movement and will be on during your stay

We are located near the Gulf in Texas which can be very humid. Bugs are to be expected (mosquitoes and palmetto bugs) even though we do spray our home regularly.

This beach house is great!

Both my husband and I have stayed at this house twice now. Two years in a row! And we will likely plan again. Kat is very reachable, accommodating and helpful. The house is in wonderful shape and the location is stellar. There is literally not one thing I would say negatively about this house or it's owner(s). I would highly recommend this place!

Wonderful!

House is just as described, awsome location. Very cute and beachy vive inside. AC Theres 2 beach access steps away on each side of the house and steps away in front of house there’s a pathway to the beach. Not crowed, the deck was so nice to hang out,had plenty of seating and we had dinner on the deck table every night. theres was no mosquitos or flying bugs at all. Will definitely book again Kat was a great host. Easy check in. A/C worked great!

Lovely stay

Kat was very communicative and check in and out was a breeze. The house was exactly as described. While hurricane Beryl did a number on Surfside, our stay was lovely. Comfortable home, close to the beach, view from the deck…. Would most certainly stay again!

More than expected

We came 2 weeks after Beryl, so we didn't know what to expect. I had 2 concerns. The affect of the storm on the area and this house was smaller than we're used to. When we got there, we were pleasantly surprised that although the square footage of the house seemed small, it was arranged very well and met out needs perfectly. It did not seem to small at all. Whoever cleans this house does an outstanding job. Im always flexible and accepting of most cleaning because most cleaning is not up to my standards. This house was immaculately cleaned. No sand, no weird snells, just very clean. The rooms worked great for us, there were any appliances and cookware we needed. We base most of our house searches on beach access and availability of outdoor space and shower. I can't really rate that portion. Due to the storm, access was not what it should have been and we couldn't use any outdoor area/shower due to tons of washed in sand and mosquitoes the size of helicopters. But looking at what may have been prior to the storm and what will be after clean up and mosquito elimination, the access seems like it would have been good and the outdoor area looked like it had been well maintained prior to the loads of washed in sand. The host was quick with communication and friendly. Im extremely picky and would not hesitate to recommend this home and this host.

Short Walk To Pedestrian Beach

Our family spent 4th of July Weekend at this beach house. Everything as advertised & great location just a two minute walk to the pedestrian beach. Fishing Jetty is also within walking distance. House was clean & well kept. Skeeters at night get thick if you walk in the grass, but they didn't bother us up on the deck or by the grill area if we stayed on the sand or concrete. Overall a really good VRBO experience.

Excellent vacation rental

This was the perfect place for our family vacation. The listing was extremely accurate and everything was exactly as stated when we arrived. Check in was a breeze and the owner communicated numerous times throughout the process and was super responsive. The location was so close to the pedestrian beach it made getting the kids back and forth effortless. I will definitely book again for our next trip.

We had a wonderful time at "Lazy Dayz". The house was recently renovated and the layout was perfect for our party of four and the dog. The kitchen included everything you would need for a meal or a fun beverage. We were on the third row but had no problem seeing the beach and water. Easy walk to the pedestrian beach and close to the Jeti. We were also surrounded by Surfside residents, so there wasn't a lot of loud renters. This was a huge plus for us. We would and hopefully will, return again to this property. Thank you Kat for being an attentive and friendly host.

If 10 stars was an option this place deserves it!

House was perfect and spacious...(2 adults, 4 teenagers and 2 dogs) It was everything advertised plus more. We have stayed in 9 other houses in the same area around this price range...Lazy Dayz is the best by far... central AC will freeze you out on the hottest days and the reverse osmosis is a life changer! Perfect location from the beach. Very welcoming felt like home away from home! THANK YOU KAT ...we will definitely be back soon!

Had everything you could need

I don't think we needed half the things we brought with us, and there were a few things we forgot. No need to worry though because the house already had them. Everything was very clean and easy to keep clean. Appliances were very nice and easy to use. Already set up for a family vacation with plenty of games and even beach toys for the kiddo. It couldn't have been any better!
