Charming 2nd Row remodel with Beach Views

This lovely beach house is located just a couple blocks from the sand on the 2nd row along pedestrian beach. Recently remodeled with 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths plus a shower downstairs. Walk-able access to convenience stores, eateries, gift shops and more. Less than a mile from the jetty, splash pad, crabbing pier, playground and Bird & Butterfly Trail.

Enjoy comfort and charm, close to the beach, at a very reasonable rate. Save when you book 7+ nights!

This place was absolutely perfect for our little group, including our two small dogs! Everything was provided, including soap pods for the dishwasher and laundry detergent. Lots of kitchen tools to make whatever you might want. A grill outside for cooking. An outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after going to the beach and beach toys for the kids. There were kid's games in a special closet and a chess set in the living room. We left a 500 piece puzzle for future guests to enjoy. There are two nice bedrooms and bathrooms so nobody has to wait. There's a dishwasher, so you can relax comfortably. There's a washer and dryer, so you don't need to pack as many clothes. They have a broom and dustpan and a vacuum cleaner for the carpeted areas so you can keep everything comfortable during your stay and take a little bit of the load off of the people who clean the house for the next guests. The deck faces the Gulf of Mexico, so even though it's on the second row, you can still watch the water. There's 3 TVs. It's a wonderful place to stay, especially for the price as there are similar price points nearby for properties we've stayed in that aren't nearly as nice. I hope my positive review won't cause the owners to raise the rates, because we would love to stay here again in the future.

This was a spacious cottage and fairly well equipped! Cooling system worked well! Appears to be an older cottage, but overall comfortable with a good ocean view!

Washer, dryer and coffee machine did not work. Floor was not clean. It was covered in suntan oil. Guest towels were way below par. There was also a roof leak over the bath tub that left an ugly stain when it rained.Property is advertised as second row, which is true, but it is a 3 block walk to the beach because the immediate coast is a retaining wall. Just fyi.

Great stay!

House was perfect for our needs and was outfitted nicely. Had all the cookware needed and filtered water was a plus! Great proximity to the laid back Surfside beachfront. Highly recommend for a family on a budget.

Great getaway

I loved 507 Seashell. It might not be bright on the outside but it is a quaint, quiet place by the beach. Fishing was great. My husband and I will definitely go back and this time stay longer. Red Snapper Inn has great food. All the way around 5 stars.

Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beach

We were looking for a place where we could enjoy sunsets and sunrises on the beach. This place was just what we were looking for. Close to the convenience store, this place was comfortable and nicely equipped for lounging, staying cool during the day (it was very hot outside), and exploring the area. Would stay here again.

Surfside Family Vacation

From ages 5 to 62, we all had a wonderful week in Surfside! The house was the perfect amount of space for our group. The living room/kitchen combo was a nice space for us to gather. The ac set at 70 kept the house quite cool and comfortable. The porch looking out towards the gulf was a pleasant spot for coffee in the morning, reading in the afternoon and a drink in the evening. The sunsets were beautiful and we were also treated to a full rainbow. It was fun watching the surfers give it a go. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Communication was a breeze with the owner, they were extremely helpful with each question asked. We highly recommend this property to future travelers.

Good property-just needs some updating

Comfortable property, close to the water to hear the waves while sitting on the deck. Beds were comfortable and we were glad to have a low to the floor bottom bunk for a 3 yr old. What I would have liked to know beforehand or we had to figure out: 1) House is near the water, but not near a "play" area of the beach. This stretch of beach is just for walking as the water's edge is near the rocks. However, beach areas more conducive to playing and hanging out are not too far away. Some are free/ public parking while other areas are a paid parking pass situation ($12 for a year pass). 2) Be prepared to contort yourself to wash your hair in the shower as the showerhead is way too low for an average height person. You can however use the outdoor shower which does have hot water (which was nice) to wash your hair. 3) the fridge looks old (and it is) but the more you fill it, the easier it will be to keep your food cold 4) The washer/dryer combo is convenient and they work, but do NOT put anything with spaghetti straps because some of our items got snagged up and the straps/ties broke in the dryer so I would air dry those things. My daughter had a brand new sports bra ruined (oh well). 5) The picture with the toys is not super accurate so if you have little ones, bring some of their own things.

Great stay! Our kids enjoyed the games after a long day at the beach. It was very clean and the location was perfect for after dinner walks to the jetty. We would stay again!

Cozy Place

Cozy, clean place. Very easy access. Has everything you need for your beach stay. Beds are a little rough to sleep in. Disappointed that it is listed as a 2 bath, only has one bath. Looks like they are counting the outdoor shower as a second bath. 1 bath is not idea for 4 adults. Should not be listed with 2 bath, comes up when you enter a 2 bath search criteria.
