This A-Frame house is the perfect getaway and it's on the beach! It is located on the pedestrian beach which means there are no cars, roads, or obstructions between the house and the beach. The house has a stylish seaside decor and an upstairs bedroom that kids of all ages love with its own private balcony. This home was featured in the 2010 issue of TEXAS HIGHWAY MAGAZINE.

Not what we wanted, but understood the circumstances

We stayed here in July of 2024 it was very nice and close to the beach. However, due to the recent hurricane the plumbing was not working, even though we were told there was no damage. Everyone tried to make everything work for us, but nothing got better. The host told us she would give us 2 days free days towards our next stay, but I reached out three weeks ago and have not heard back.

Right on the beach

Great place to stay if you want access right on the beach. The beach was accessable all day and night (the tide didn't come up too far). It is located next to the public beach access so it did get a little crowded, but nothing too bad. The house was just as pictured, quaint and cozy. Once we turned the window units all the way down they and the fans were able to keep up with the August heat.

Great little A Frame

Great little place with a pretty steep stairs to the loft to get ot the extra sleeping space. The bathroom could use some ventilation. The front deck is great but really scorching heat so we couldn't use it due to lack of shade during the day. Great access to the beach.

Cozy and character

Cozy A-frame beach-front home with a ton of character. Loved the location right on the pedestrian beach and away from the crowds. Carol was readily accessible and went above and beyond. Highly recommend any of her properties!

Beautiful beach but house needs some improvements

The house was nice but the bed in the main bedroom was so hard and uncomfortable. When you lay down on it you rolled to the middle and it squeaked every time you moved. The upstairs loft was so hot it wasn’t suitable to sleep up there. The beach and experience was amazing and will definitely be coming back to Surfside.

Great House and beach Location!

House and location are awesome! We had a great time, the neighbors in the A frames were super friendly and great to meet. Only thing of note is the main bedroom mattress is pretty uncomfortable and the bed frame makes a lot noise while you sit, sleep on it. Also the big burner on the stove didn't work. Regardless of that though we would 100% be back!

Great beach access

The wife and I spent a couple of days and had a great time. It's not a real touristy place, but it you want a nice scenic ocean view to share with someone, it's perfect.
